I bought this mask to use when using my air-brush. It filters out the paint and medium particulates from the air before I breathe it. It seals easily with little tension on the headgear. It also does not protrude far above your nose. So it does not interfere with your field of view too much. It does cause some problems when wearing goggles, though. A full face mask is probably a better idea if you need eye protection as well. I sometimes wear safety glasses when using this mask. But not often. So, it isn't as much of an issue for me.
