This is a really easy to use buffer/polisher. I have a really old type that I purchased back when Western Auto was still in business, and it worked okay. This new Dewalt is right on target, with the variable speed that locks in just where you want it, made buffing a breeze. Sure I could control my finger with the old one, but this doesn't leave the finger all cramped up after a few hours. Love it!

I've used DeWalt buffers for 17 years detailing cars and have tried others but the control you have with this is unmatched. Variable speed is key in small areas though you should never need to have this maxed out the power is crazy. Great machine, I made my money back plus some just buffing out 3 cars.

This new one has a dial speed so your finger won't get tired trying to hold the constant speed that you need. It have cleanable filters on the air intake for cooling. You get 2 different types of handles to fit the needs of the task at hand. If you have been using a polisher that is about years old you will love this one. My old one runs just fine but I really liked the features that this polisher has. Now I have 2 that work great.
