Ive had this thing a few months now and its actually bigger than i wanted but that was my fault for not measuring correctly. It took my husband maybe 15 mins to set up by himself.. the mat isnt super thick but my very active 1yo has fell in there more than a few times and no bumps or bruises so i guess it works. I did buy little velcro strips for under the mat because she was pulling it up and just playing on the floor underneath the mat, that only worked for a few days so its a constant battle to keep her from pulling the mat up now but i guess that would happen with any playpen i buy….I like the fact that it came with those little foam pool noodle type things to go around the bars under the fabric too so when my baby goes ape s* running around like its a wrestling ring she doesnt smash her face onto the metal bar. All in all a good purchase. 5stars.
