    Built well and inexpensive! The mirror my girlfriend had broke after years. She's constantly trying to find proper lighting to do whatever it is that she's doing. This solved that problem. And even if they weren't you can get a 4 pack of 2032s for 5 bucks and they last a lot longer and are lighter than aaa batteries, which I appreciate because I keep this in my tiny makeup bag or an evening clutch to check my lipstick

I'm clumsy and have dropped it a few time, but it has never shattered or cracked. The LEDs are really bright in this mirror. It's another plus this compact mirror has both regular and the "up close" mirror. It's a great makeup mirror for on the go, fits in my pocket and my tiny purse. Great for last minute touch ups in the car.

I didn't have a problem, as others did, with the light. It's true it doesn't light up your whole face because of its placement. But it illuminates close up on the normal mirror side. And works best lighting the magnified side. Which is exactly what I wanted. And shipping was fast and the two batteries came pre-installed. So yes, would recommend.

This does allow me to see stray hairs on the chin, mouth area and eyebrows. You can also use it to check the application of your face and eye makeup especially when on the road in areas where lighting is not the best. Perfect for travel!
