This may look like an ordinary wooden box on the outside but lift the cover to discover that is is an elegant wooden lunch box or Bento box. With neat compartments to hold various foods, it is also known as a sushi box but you don’t have to serve sushi in it.
Use it as a wooden salad bowl thanks to the removable inner wooden lattice or for healthy lunches for yourself and other family members. It also has a handle for easy transportation.

I got the black box with the bamboo top and it looks beautiful. The size is perfect and I love that you can change the size of the compartments with the dividers. Both boxes have push/pull silicone plugs that secure the lids with suction and are easily released. The utensils inside are also bamboo and it has a spoon, fork, knife and chopsticks. I'm just going to be using it for cold food, but I did notice that you can reheat food in the boxes up to 3 minutes in a microwave. This just arrived today and I am looking forward to using it.

I like this so well that I purchased a second one. It has two separate compartments that have snug fitting leak proof vented lids. Foods can be stored and reheated in the same containers. The removable dividers allow for customizing the section size to keep foods separated. I can place the foods in the container and place it in my small fridge, reheat in my microwave, and/or carry the stacked unit into the driver lounge. The bamboo utensil and lid are great. The lid doubles as a cutting board. Easy clean up. If I store foods with a strong odor I just spray the interior and lids with white vinegar after washing. This effectively neutralizes any lingering odors.

This box was a lot smaller then I imagined it would be for something that cost 20 dollars. That not a problem as everything fit in nicely and make it so you watch your portion. On the plus side, it smallness give it a great advantage to be able to be carried around with easy in a backpack for school or even a bag as small as a purse. It comes with some nice bamboo utensils that I found out where broken so don't depend to much on those as you can buy some cheap somewhere else. For the food, I would really only trust this with non liquid foods as the seals does not seem that well to hold if the container Is held vertically. Other then that it a great little box just don't get your expectations high.

It washed well because all of the parts easily came apart for easy cleaning. When I filled the boxes with my food, I liked that the divider was movable so I could add extra food on one side and a little less on the other, vice other products that have a stationary divider. They stacked nice and the band that came with them held the boxes tightly together, so no shifting. The only thing I didn't like was the depth of the spoon; it was shallow so did not hold too much of my beans that I had brought with my lunch. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product for anyone brining their food on the go!

Another thing is the little extra container doesn’t fit in the bento at all.. not on top not on the bottom but I just throw that thing in his lunch box and it’s fine.. it’s not an inconvenience to me. This is however the perfect size for a quick healthy and simple lunch. I use it to pack lunch for my 180lb bf. At first I was overstuffing this thing and my bf told me it was more than enough that I didn’t have to. For some this might not be enough but what we wanted out of this bento is not to fill him up to the point where he’s completely full and can’t move. It’s just to have a healthy mean and give him fuel for work. Definitely helps with portion control..
