   They came quick. Not being very computer savvy I had to get someone else to get me music in the correct format. I've saved it to my laptop and sd card. Sound is much better then ear buds. It took one swim to figure out the buttons and the fact that they are naked L and R. Ordered a second pair for my spouse. I swim for well over an hour and haven't lost battery power yet.

   Absolutely stunned by the sound quality once got in the water. you can wear them out of water and they produce a good sound. In the water it was so loud and clear had to lower the volume by half. The docking port works well for loading music and some types of audio books / podcasts. It also charges the unit reasonably quickly. the controls on the unit are fairly straight forward once one reads the instructions. They can be used while swimming with one hand. About my only complaint is that their is no way (I have discovered, anyway) to jump from one music album to another. This requires a bit of planning if one is hoping to hear a specific set of music or audiobook. I did enjoy the randomizer as it kept the music varied which helped relive the boredom of long distance pool swimming.

   I had the prior version, and didn't have an issue with it, but wanted the version without the module in between the two ear pieces. I had no issues loading music or charging it. These are bigger than the older version, and also are more of a permanent fixture on the goggles vs. the spring clips on the older one - i.e. the old ones I took off my goggles with each use, these I keep on because they're much more challenging to put on the goggle strap. But this hasn't been an issue. They hold firmly to my head, and produce good sound, at least as good as my older version. I haven't quite gotten used to the controls, but they're not bad. I recommend wearing earplugs to get better sound quality. I enjoy my workouts much more with music playing, I'm a big fan of these.

   I have owned every generation of Waterpods players and many other brands, being a lifetime swimmer - 60+ years in water. This model works and works great. I wear them behind my ears under a bathing cap to get the best sound. As they don't go in the ear, you can still hear what people say to you and they are not going to stop working just because water gets in - they work when they and you are wet. Easy to upload, charge and you can easily adjust volume and skip tracks while swimming. Sound quality is not like a dry-land mp3 but it is decent with good strong volume. Mainly you can even swim hard, flip turns - no problem. The one swim mp3 that really works and gives you the freedom to do what you want in water.
