My home office is in my basement, which can get a bit chilly sometimes. I got these with the idea of being able to type while having some warmth for the hands and they work great for that purpose. As would be the case with any fingerless gloves, it is a minor adjustment on typing because you don't normally type with gloves on, but it only took a few minutes to get used to it. The gloves by themselves would be a big aid in all this, but with the heating element, they give my cold hands a boost of warmth. I use them with the heating element in my palms, and this causes no obstacle for typing or using my phone or mouse.
