Sound wasn’t too loud for us, as we couldn’t hear it inside the house, but had to take it down because of subdivision complaints... think it’s less effective without the sound, so better for residential areas where the homes are distanced.

   We purchased the Bird Repeller as our last effort to rid our yard of birds being fed by our next door neighbor. The birds were causing property damage. We had bird dropping on our newly painted house, screens, central air conditioner, cars and driveway. Discussion with our neighbor went nowhere. My wife erected scarecrows in our yard with no success. Our neighbor just added more feeders to attract more birds. We were determined to solve this problem even if it meant legal action. After installing the Bird Repeller, our problem was solved! We intend to purchase another Bird Repeller unit because it works!

   This product worked better than advertised!! I got it to keep grackles, blackbirds, pigeons etc. from doing their business on my patio and in my pool. It has been very effective and has basically kept all bird flight out of my patio/pool areas. If you take the time to read and follow the instructions as written, you should have good luck like I did. The coverage area is 50' x 30' (est.) and the original batteries are still strong. I would recommend this unit and will probably buy another for my front porch!!
