   Loved the concept of these clippers. However, after three uses the battery pack went loose and fell apart. Now the light on it won't work anymore. Even if I put the batteries back in correctly, the light on the clippers won't turn back on. I will be looking at a different brand for new clippers. Just mad these were so pricey.

My dog has darker nails so the light doesn’t totally penetrate the nail’s inside vein but it helps me see where the tip of the nail is.. just cut slowly little by little and no harm will be done.    Love Love Love Peticare! This product is a game changer. It’s so easy to use, comes with batteries and a light! It has a catching tray that traps the clipped nails and a LED light to help you see. I trim my dogs nails in less than 5 minutes versus using the PetiPaw which took about 20! This product doesn’t make any noise which was a huge plus for me.    The blade design on these clippers is the best I have found. I have had a similar pair (without the light and magnifier) for about 20 years and love it. Unfortunately, I forgot and left those in Florida when we came north this spring so I needed to get another pair. The product was delivered the next day as promised. I did not use the magnifier but the light was helpful. It seems to me that the blade on my previous pair is sharper than this one, but that could be just me. If the light had been as bright as I had anticipated, it could have been a great product. As it is though, just not as great as I expected.
