   These were recommended by an employee of the VA Hospital for my handicapped husband. These crutches are so much more comfortable than the old metal forearm crutches issued by the Hospital. And all the areas that can be adjusted for the individual are amazing and so helpful! Even the little lights are great for navigating the house at night or in dark areas. We are actually on our second pair as the gears that adjusted the hand grips were stripped after several years of use. We have purchased the replacement gears so that he has a backup pair of crutches.

   This crutch exceeded my expectations. Build quality is excellent and the tip is very robust so should last awhile but I'm impressed by the comfort of the grip. The grip is a dense foam so it's “squishy” but still very firm, a good balance between the two. The ability to adjust the angle of the hand grip as it compares to the shaft of the crutch allows you to eliminate stress on your wrist. The “horn” is cute but I don't think is needed, It's not very loud but the built in light comes in handy. Wish I had bought one sooner
