Give it 2-3 days and that foam completely changes. It's soft, fluffy, and completely fills the bag. Pulling the bed out of the bean bag as well as putting it back in is simple enough my 10 year old does it himself. Overall super impressed with the quality of this for the price. The picture is of the bed fully fluffed, we have the full size.

The beanbag version is nice and soft - I prefer it over traditional bead beanbags cause you can snuggle into it but its definitely not as supportive which is fine for us since we have it up against a corner. The bed version was surprisingly thick! I thought that you would be able to feel the floor but its thick enough to where you feel pretty supported and comfortable!
