   This is a great invention. I was thinking of how I could do this myself. I checked amazon and already exists and even has the solar heater. For the price and purpose 5 stars. I would like a longer hose for the handheld. Because the pressure is not great which is to be expected, but if the hose was longer you could get the handheld in closer to the spot you want to clean like your ass or pegs or whatever. But this is great for camping. If your like me and don’t like the campground showers.

   I've used a lot of different solar showers as we're on a boat and like to shower on our deck. This one is the best so far. Great quality and can hang from a halyard really easily. We had several other cheaper brands that just cracked and fell. Not fun when the bag is full of water and you want a shower! Highly recommend this solar shower. You get what you pay for with these things.

   this is the second one i have purchased, the first one lasted over two years of abuse three weekends a month nearly every month. these are well made and of very durable materials. it holds enough water for three reasonable showers. the water will get very comfortably warm, even hot if left in direct sun for approx. three hrs at 75 degrees. [the silver side goes down]. after two yrs the plastic nozzle which is a pull on/ push off function was warn out and cracked. other than that it was still serviceable.

   We got two of these and we were happy we did. The nozzle works literally just like a regular shower head. You do have to keep them in the sun to retain the heat but even then the water never gets colder than room temp. They were easy to use and material was good quality. All of our other friends who bought cheaper versions had problems with either the seal to the bag, the tub where the water comes out being too thin, or some other little odd issues. These also work for an awesome dish washing station while camping or just water to wash your hands or face. Highly recommend.

   Received yesterday, I did a test fill for an upcoming camping trip, never leaked & held up well. I hung it outside for 3hrs, so far so good! The bag itself is a heavy sturdy plastic an made really well, very happy with that... I wish the spray nozzle on the end of the tube was made a little better, seems a little cheap but it DID work well. If anything changes after our trip or we have any problems I’ll update this review.. thx

   This shower is the bomb! Not only is it substantial, its sturdy, the handle is rock solid, the fill outlet is large, there's a mesh pocket for whatever you need and a mirror tethered to the bag so it won't slip and fall. The hose is perfect, not too long and is also sturdy with no crimps like the Coleman shower (which I happily returned because that crimped hose had no flow). This hose flows beautifully and strong and the shower head pops out easily and pops back in to stop the flow. I use it every day after my lunchtime power walk, I hang it on the back of the women's room door and stand in a plastic bin so I need something with good strong flow to wash quickly, that's easy & quick to fill, lift to hang on the hooks and then empty whatever water is left. The Advanced Elements Summer Shower is definitely worth every single cent!

   And a huge thank you to James Preston! Best Amazon review/advice ever. I followed James Preston’s advice above and attached a 1/2” to 1/2” brass shut off valve to my tubing (used aviation snips to make a clean cut through the tubing) to bypass the finnicky slide mechanism that the unit comes with. The tubing should slide over the 1/2” brass fitting with a little effort. Couldn’t find a fit at Home Depot so went to my local Locke plumbing supply and got one there. I’m taking two of these to Africa for my family as we move over and, based on some testing last summer, am very excited for them.

   I used this as a camp shower and it delivered a HOT shower at camp! I left it in the sun and watched the temp gauge for the water temp. Between 98 and 104 was the perfect water temp for a nice refreshing hot shower at camp! The best solar shower I have personally used.. my only caution is if the bag is not full, the water temp will be incredibly hot if left out for a lengthy time in the sun! (The 2nd day I only had half a bag of water and it was hot like out of my water heater turned all the way up! Steamy!) This solar shower delivers! I was impressed by how quickly the water warmed up when I used it and made sure it was directly in sunlight for about 1-2 hours depending on water level. (The first time I tried to use it, it was chilly out and my shower was far from hot since outside temp affects water temp even in the sun!) Great product and 5 gal gave me 2 days of showering at camp!

   I needed this as I was on a mission trip and hot water was almost guaranteed to be unavailable. What I did was heat up a kettle of water electrically and then I filled the bag not even halfway- whatever the kettle held. The temperature was nearly boiling water with no problems. Then I had a large plastic cup that I mixed boiling water with icy cold water for pouring on myself. It worked well. The closure held back the water till it was opened again. I was able to hang it on the shower curtain easily. I never filled it completely so i did not have the heavy problem some users talked about. I did not use the solar features. I would use it again.

   I didn’t believe the review that the water gets so hot that you should leave some space to add Unheated water. The first time I attempted to take a shower I was almost scalded...it gets that hot. The next day we left a quarter of the space to add water and my teenaged daughter said it was still too hot. We now fill it half way to let it heat up while we go hiking, fishing, etc. We left it on the metal bear box because it was a nice flat space. This product has revolutionized our camping!
