This one fits in the 8 qt pot with a bit of extra space, and would probably look small in my 10 qt but would still work. I can get at least 4 cups of potatoes in for cooking, which is great. It's also well made and the mesh will not lose small pieces, although getting potato mashy bits out took a little elbow grease. All in all, I am very satisfied with the usefulness of this basket.

OK, so I really had my doubts that this set was worth it. But wow--when it arrived, all doubts were removed. To start with, it was packaged very nicely to prevent being bent or damaged during shipping. And when I washed it for the first time, noticed that it did not have sharp edges to snag my washcloth where the wire mesh meets the metal rim, and the mesh was substantial (not flimsy at all). Best feature--the metal rim is not hollow, so no way for water to get trapped in it over time like others I have had. Really impressed with it, and has been great to cook with!
