It did take more than 5 hours to fully recharge (approx. 7 hrs) but that could be due to amp rating of the USB used. The built-in light and hanger should be very handy for camping.

Why? 1) it's powerful 2) The variable control is SO MUCH better than just a typical high/low setting 3) battery light indicator 4) Sturdy hinges for angling the fan 5) USB C charging (vs the less ideal micro-USB). 6) Overall construction pretty solid. I didn't care that it has a light because I don't need that. But it is bright and the 3 variable settings are nice. Battery life appears to be as advertised. BTW it's 10" tall. The blade is about 5.5" diameter. A great buy!

If you're using it for camping, that may be a different story. The hook under the base is a nice touch for hanging it up in, say, a tent.

Airflow volume is decent, if not overwhelming. It will keep one or maybe two people reasonably cool at close distances, but don't expect it to move a large volume of air in a regular sized room. That said, for use on an end table or night stand, it's perfect. Highly recommend for these types of uses.
