Within two days he new what to do. Just make sure you press the button when the dog is miss behaving not a while after.

We really like this training collar. The buttons are very easy to view and it's easy to use. The only thing we don't love is the material the actual collage is made out of. It like a plastic material and we've always has a nylon collar, but it's still fine. It's way easier to maneuver the buttons than the last collar we had. Over all a great training collar and value!
