   First of all, where was this invention when i was a kid? I suffered so much back in the days. Being multi racial my hair was a nightmare to detangle and style. Im glad to see how, in past couple of years , more products and more understanding of multi racial hair is breaking through the market. I dreaded washing my hair because of the detangling process, but this detangler is a game changer in my hair routine now. I was very hesitant at first because my hair is like velcro, literally, and this seemed too good to be true. Im glad i took a chance with it because it works simply put. It really went through those stubborn knots with gentle back and forth motion and with little hair ripping out (i countrd 2 strands) ! Usually, ill have a ball of hair ripped out while detangling even with a “wetbrush”. I highly recommend this brush to anyone struggling with curly kinky hair. Im a range between 2b through 3b curl type if it helps. My only wish is that in the future they make one waterproof to use under the shower!

   OK, this thing arrived at my house and I took one look at it and shoved it into the bathroom cabinet. It looked like it wouldn't do anything much less handle my kids' very curly hair! After a few months I dug it out and tried it on my hair...because I couldn't find a stupid comb! ARGH! Anyway, I liked how it went through my hair and began using it regularly on myself. But I am a white woman with straight hair. My children are mixed races and their hair is very tightly curled. Especially my older daughter who has a 4b/4c texture.

   This Detangler hairbrush is very awesome very GREAT with kids that don’t want to get tangles out of their hair specially when it hurts them! my son particularly does not like hairbrushes lol but he loves this thing I don’t have to hold him down or fight with him anymore on brushing his hair because he actually loves this thing!! Now when you have a nodded nest of hair you actually have to work with it in small parts which you’ll get the hang of it (it does take a few try’s to learn how to work with the tangled nest n this brush) and work your way through the nest of tangled hair, but it doesn’t hurt Caleb as long as you hold up High on the hair that you’re working with that way there’s no pulling or anything that they can not fell it, I’ve always done this I was taught this way when getting knots out of hair you hold that piece of up high so it doesn’t pull so hard on their hair. My son is three and has very long hair beautiful hair and now he’s at the point where he will brush his hair with this device and get them out because it doesn’t hurt him as bad anymore like a regular brush does.. now I was excited to open this I did not know it came with batteries at the time until I actually start looking at the box but I had already put everything together but it does come with batteries and a lid and you will need a screwdriver but this is amazing I am going to buy my nieces one because they have long hair and they have tangles in their hair all the time and they will love this!

   I saw this brush being used by a TicToc fan and I figured I should give this a try. I have below the shoulder, highlighted blonde hair that tangles so much after I wash it even though I put a ton on conditioner on after the shampoo. I always lost so much hair when using either a "wet brush" or a wide toothed comb! Now, I might have one or two hairs in this brush! I let my neighbor use it on her 8 yo daughter who is mixed race with a massive amount of long, thick hair that gets in knots. No tears!! I have told everyone I know about this amazing brush to include my hair dresser. She will be getting one for herself and one for her adult daughter!!! You will not be disappointed with this brush!

   I don’t usually write reviews but I HAD to write this one. My daughter is 7 and her hair is pictured above. As you can imagine it is torture to comb every night. No matter how gently I pull apart each tangle she ends up screaming. She got an amazon gift card for her bday and since this product was at a great price I decided to give it a try! It is worth a million dollars! It normally takes me at least 40 mins to comb through her hair after she washes it and I just did it in 10-15! Furthermore, *she* asked *me* if she could wash her hair tonight! That has NEVER happened! Mommy and daughter are both thrilled with this product! Added bonus she can brush my hair with it too!
