I was concerned the weight of the wiring and everything else would impact the way the Isis wings move, but it didn’t! They look terrific in the dark, and under full/normal light, they more or less look like the iridescent white plain Isis wings. I also greatly appreciated the telescopic sticks for the inside. I used to use wooden dowels, and these beat those by a mile!

And these are one of those things - they look just like the pictures! I looked into making articulated wings as a costume and the easiest way is to strap them to your arms without creating armature. Granted, that means they aren't really articulated like bird's wings, but these are more like butterfly wings anyway. I received the multicolor ones and just wow...when you are wearing them, holding your arms up shows just how beautiful they are! The only thing I wish is that they were powered either by those larger, thin watch-type batteries and/or had the ability to be usb recharged. Okay, so I have rechargeable AA batteries, but it would be so much nicer NOT to have that thick battery holder attached, y'know? Other than that, this set of wings is about the coolest thing ever!

This is fantastic. It's the most fabulous rainbow cape for nighttime that I could have wanted. It's not really that bad as far as comfort, especially if you distribute the weight over your shoulders. The effect is absolutely gorgeous, and the telescoping wands allow you to move the cape in all kinds of dramatic flourishes. I also like how the switch is on a cable that can be controlled down at hand height; you don't have to mess around with your neck to turn the lights on and off. It is almost like magic; you flip the hidden switch and bam! instant glamour. I plan to wear it to nighttime Renaissance Faires but it'd be perfect for a Pride event or for use on-stage as well. One caveat: the pictures make it look as though the fabric itself is rainbow-colored; it's not. This is an iridescent white cape that reflects the colored LEDs, and it only looks rainbow when you turn the lights on. I'm 5'4" and the length is to the floor on me. It's just perfect; I'm very excited.
