I would recommend it as a gift - it also seems to be hassle-free and the 360 rotating c should be handy. I am sure guys with curls may find it handy too. Build quality is superb and feels substantial to hold but yet comfortable. i prefer the black colour and the size is good too.. i have kept my old Microsoft phone besides the straightener, which is about 5.5 inches for a quick size comparison.
