Oh and you're sure there should be some sort of software like Pro Tools to be able to transfer the files to. Makes it easy to see directly directly where the inconsistency is.

   Unless you're a true audio nerd, this elegant little gizmo is more manageable, with much longer battery life than musician-oriented recorders from Zoom, Tascam, and similar recorders. . I also have a voice recorder (Zoom with better microphone etc) but this one starts up faster, is easier to lug around and is 5 times more commonly used than my nicer one.

   They didn't have anything like this when I first started listening to music in the 50's. They really pack a lot into a small package. I like to download 30 or 40 songs, put the device in my shirt pocket, and then spend the afternoon mountain biking. For a speaker the size of your pinky fingernail, the sound is pretty impressive. It's ear-to-ear, but I've maintained my support for 71 years by avoiding such things. All in all, I'm quite pleased with this tiny digital recorder
