A great buy for the money. I needed it to help lay some flagstone against a patio extending from the house. First thing to do is build a retaining wall about 10 ft away. So, I need to determine the height so I can order the material. It's surprising how deceiving it is just by looking at it. And finally and more critically, I need to lay the flagstone with a slight slope away from the house. This laser level is very helpful in setting this up. I'll check the work as I go re: levelling - but this tool is very helpful to get started. One downside is that the laser is not visible when working outside in bright light - I had to wait to use it near sundown or when it was very cloudy. I suspect this would be a common limitation for most laser levels.

I lined up and put my comics on the wall in about 10 minutes. My only gripe is that the tape measure doesn't work very well, it doesn't stay locked in place and is very flimsy, it was bent as soon as i pulled it out once. Overall great buy, I definitely recommend.
