It makes little noise. It works well. I have used it 3 days so don't see a change but I expect I will as it makes sense. I used the weakest spring the first time and went to medium after that with no problems. It has a decent pad so there's zero pain either under my chin or on my sternum. If I don't see any difference in a few weeks, I'll repost and rate it lower.
