My daughter hates bath time. No, she loves bath time, but she hates the part where we have to wash her hair. We used to use something similar to this when I was young, so I had the idea to google and try to find one.

My google search presented me with a few options, and I ended up choosing this product because of the handle on the front. I'm so glad that I did. That handle is a lifesaver. As soon as the 'hat' goes on, my kids immediately put their heads down. I have to force them to look up with that handle. Love this product!

When we first bought this thing I was very doubtful. I was one of those people that thought that it was too good to be true. Turns out that after about two years we washed my daughter's hair without the typical screaming, crying, fighting and yanking know as bath time. We did begin the process by letting her know she gets to wear a crown. After that it was no problem. We were able to give her her bath even put conditioner in her hair and she still didn't cry and it kept the water out of her eyes. At first my wife and I did it together, one of us held it and the other one washed the hair. It takes a little maneuvering to do it by yourself but it can be done. Excellent product!

When I tell you guys I've never been happier with a purchase than this one!!! My daughter dreaded hair wash days. She's 5 years old and screams and fights like crazy when I used to wash her hair. She shed not one tear and screamed not once!!!! I was so happy I could cry. She even asked to " pour water" over her head a couple of times. I honestly have to say, it was the most thorough I was able to wash her hair since a newborn which means alot to me bc she has locs and needs deep cleaning as to not cause build up! The best purchase!

Well... I’m sure it works great and I will find out eventually, but my 16 month old won’t let me put it on her. Instead, she wants me to wear it. I’m holding onto though, I feel that eventually she’ll let me use it, especially when she learns that it stops the water from running down her face. Until then, it’s “mommy hat.”

We have had this product for about two months, and it has worked great for our toddler and preschooler. Washing their hair used to be a constant fight, because they both hated to have water in their faces, ears, and eyes. We tried lots of different things, from having them simply look up, to using towels over their eyes and ears, to even giving them goggles to use during the bath. None of it worked all that well, so we decided to try this product. To our surprise and delight, it has worked great! Both kids tolerate it fairly well (sometimes they don't want to use it and still don't want their hair washed, but that's normal for kids). The only thing is that you have to press a little hard to get a good seal. So you either have to brace them with one hand, or have them brace yourselves so they don't tip over (not a big problem for us, but for a littler baby it might be).

We got this in January of 2018 and we still use it. Why review now? I was actually looking it up to recommend to a parent (And this is like maybe the eighth time Ive recommended it to someone over the years) and saw a couple of bad reviews. My son is on the spectrum and he cannot stand water on his face. This saved my sanity. It took a couple of trust runs for him to understand how it worked but hair washing has been amazing the last three years (once I get him IN the tub - but that is another issue) Mold - we have seen NONE. We just rinse and leave on sink to dry. Once dry, I put it up on a shelf over the door. We do not leave in tub area because the house is 100 years old and we do have that typical mold in the shower grout battle that we fight.

Washing my daughters hair was such a challenge. I knew that there had to be some clever thing out there that could help with that and this is it. She is still getting used to the idea of it (in that she doesn't have to worry about getting water in her face) but it has made washing her hair so much less traumatic for both of us. It's a little big for her and you have to be almost double jointed to hold the splashguard and shampoo the hair but with a little maneuvering it's doable.

This thing is great. My 3 year old daughter would scream and cry every time I tried to wash her hair. I transitioned her over to washing it in the sink but it continued to be difficult leaning her back and she would still fight the entire process, afraid of water getting in her eyes. I finally decided to try this out and it's been a lifesaver. It fits her head well along with my 5 year old's, and she laughs now when we put it on her head to wash her hair. She says "it's super fun"! Thanks, Lil Rinser, for making bath time drama free!

This thing is awesome. My toddler would cry every night when wed start washing her hair and no matter how careful we were to keep soapy water out of her face, it would get there. Shed get scared and look down, making things worse, it sucked. We tried another product that you had to strap to her head and we could rarely get her to wear it for long enough to rinse her hair, and on the rare occasion we could, it still dribbled water in her face. We have to after a week. THIS product is a great design. It has a strap but you dont have to use it. The soft rubber that presses up against the forehead channels the water back so nothing is spilling into or in front of her face, so shes totally comfortable. We just hold it against her head with one hand and pour water with the other. Great product!
