The other was shorter and more gun shaped. I bought this primarily for my legs (calves and thighs) and it is excellent! It feels great on the back, hips and shoulders too. And as one reviewer mentioned, keep it away from bones if it's on high. This is a SERIOUS vibration on high! So dial it down near your ankles and the outside of your shoulders. Would totally buy it again but I hope I won't have to.
