I've never been good at curling my hair and my hair doesn't really like curls. I've tried curling irons, curling wands, hot rollers, sponge rollers, you name it…. And have never achieved a look that I actually liked. Until now. This thing is the solution. It makes curling my hair so easy. If you miss a section, it's fine. Even if the curler picks up the hair around it that's already curled, it's fine. A quick shake out once the curls have cooled is all you need. I usually spray my curls with hairspray and they stay all day. Of course they get looser as the day goes on but the curls stay. The unit beeps when it's time to move to another section. Sometimes I get a little carried away with mine and somehow reset the timer but once you do a few strands you get a feel for how long to leave it. I don't feel as though it's damaging to my hair. It wraps and releases very gently and I've never had an issue with tangling in the barrel.
