   Compared to knee sleeves, this thing is flawless. I’m a big guy and every knee sleeve I’ve tried bunches up behind the knee and / or slides down. This stays in place, is easier to get on and off, and is much more effective for pain relief. If you have it on a little tight, it can dig in on the sides a bit, but it doesn’t need to be tight in order to work and stay in place. This is so effective that I only need to wear it for a few days before my knee feels 100% again, and I’ve learned to wear it while I’m doing a strenuous activity or taking long drives to avoid the need to wear it for subsequent days. However it’s so comfortable that I forget I’m wearing it sometimes, so if you had to wear it indefinitely it wouldn’t be a problem. I really can’t say enough good things about it. For the price you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

   I have old ski injuries that left me with a mobile patella. I have very big calves so the whole knee sleeve braces are too big for my thighs, if they are big enough for my calves. They also are very uncomfortable when I bend my knee. I got these straps. At first they seemed too loose and not helping much. I stopped using them. Then I had a one day round trip flight and just the additional walking with the bag caused me to start limping. I decided to give the strap another try and it helped a lot. I am now wearing them every day and I have not had a limp since then. Customer support offered me a full refund when I said that they didn't seem to work the first time I tried them, but I didn't want to be one of those people who changes their review for a payoff. This is a real review and the straps are helpful for those of us who have odd shaped legs and much less bulky than the knee sleeves

   Initially I was doubtful that these things would actually do anything, but after reading all of the reviews I thought for the price it was worth a shot. I am a 245 lb man with cartilage wear behind my patellas. I have been going to physical therapy for this. I should probably not be running, but I do what I want to do. I made an ambitious goal of running a full marathon within 6 months. Unfortunately for me, a fat guy running almost everyday on bad knees will lead to some knee pain. Quitting was not an option so I had to figure something out. I ordered these patella stabilizers not really expecting much, but they actually took the pain away. Of course I still have some pain afterwards and when I am not wearing them, but during my runs I experience almost no pain in my knees. This has been a game changer and I am very happy with this purchase.

   I could not get up from a seating position without pain. I was getting ready to adjust the height of the toilet and bed. When these arrived I put them on and was so skeptical that these skinny strips could do anything (after years of knee braces, stretch bandages, mechanical get ups). I was seated and had to rush to the kitchen and was half way there when I froze--no pain. No pain. It is unbelievable. I can look for my shoes under the bed and get back up with no god searing pain! Buy! I'm getting another pair don't want to risk misplacing.

   Before getting these I would go for a run and feel pain in my knees on down hills, and I would feel a dull pain after my run that would linger for a few hours after. After using these I couldn’t imagine running without them. They feel a little funny at first almost like it makes your knee bend but when you start running you forget they are there. I have recommended these to a bunch of co-workers that I run with and they have all invested in them and feel the same way. I would highly recommend these because they are great price and they substantially help with the pain.

   Amazing! I began seeing a physical therapist for pain in my knees after arthritis was ruled out. His opinion was that my IT bands tightened up which caused my platellas to move outwards. This caused a lot of pain and limping when walking..with every excruciating step. I began entertaining thoughts of walkers or scooters (I’m in my 40’s). Physical therapy helps, but until I get to the point of relief (which I did once, but got lazy with the upkeep) my knees pretty much stayed taped up. Tapes are helpful, but are kind of a hassle to keep redoing, expensive because I have to keep buying them, make pain worse if I don’t get it just right, and only do so much. I bought these because I was hoping they would help stabilize my patellas until I could build strength in my knees and loosen my IT bands. These were seriously, no joke, INSTANT relief from the moment I strapped them on. I moved about, up and down stairs, all day long with little to no pain until I took them off. They are easy to use, soft, light weight, and comfortable, inexpensive, and they work! They’re going to be my best friend every time I get lazy with the stretching, and toning.
