This is a focused product that is intended to do one thing, and it does it well. I had deteriorating cassette tapes with valuable data that I did not want to lose. I needed to get it into a digital format (MP3) where the data would last. Mechanical cassette tapes are going out of style, and they can physically degrade and become non-operational. This product did the conversion perfectly. There is an instruction guide that comes with the converter and you will need it. There are quite a few buttons on the converter that make using it somewhat complex. Follow the book and it works fine. For the price, I consider the converter an excellent value.
