She can eat, drink, and, most importantly, take her geriatric naps in it with no discomfort. Build quality seems good so far - the hoop is metal covered in foam and doesn't scratch the furniture and the harness part is quite sturdy. This little elder has a girth of 15" and the XS fits her perfectly.
