The security features make it slightly more difficult to get into, but that is the point. It's supposed to be secure enough that someone can't just sneak in while it on your back. The fact that the interior is light pink makes it great to find things. the fabric is great to wear while it is hot and humid outside. I had no problem wearing it all around Savannah in the summer. overall I highly recommend it.
