   I am stymied by people's expectations. This has been such a benefit for my visually impaired dog. It is however, not designed to restore vision but to prevent injury. Before we got it, she slammed her sweet head into the wall running to go for a walk. Heart wrenching. Now, she feels more secure knowing she has a bumper to protect her from injury. Fit isn't all that great. The loop is always cattywampas but still remains protective. A full harness on her body could resolve that. The loop was well too extensive but my husband shortened it so that is improved. Better to have too much than too little. She also likes to use it to get our attention or push her litter mate around. It does get hooked around her brother and various things so if I leave them home I take it off so she doesn't get trapped or injured. I hate that there isn't a way to wash it. Does not disassemble. She also occasionally steps through it but has learned how to step back out. All in all it has been a nice protective device for her, although a few flaws. When she walks about without it, she is more hesitant so I can tell it brings her a bit of comfort. Meets its purpose.

   It fit my dog well and she didn’t seem to be uncomfortable in it. The part that protrudes out the front to help avoid bumping into things seemed to be a bit long for our dog. She’s a chunk but she’s a shi tzu mix and although the part that fastens around her body fit great, we had to shorten the “halo” part that goes around the front of her head. It was an easy fix and I’d buy this again if I needed to.

   Lately we have been back and forth in 3 homes and we bring our dog as she is blind and deaf. Her nose is fantastic which helps her a lot. This anti collision ring helps her from knocking her head a lot. She actually does well without it, but when she gets to knocking her head I put it on and she just bounces off and moves to another direction. It is inexpensive then the name brand and well it fits her perfectly. Our Koa is a miniature pinscher. It is adjustable. I purchased the small size for this dog. She is not heavy at all.

   Perfect for my Boston terrier, she is completely blind in one eye and about half in the other. I have 4 small children so she is constantly bumping in to them and to make matters worse on her we just moved to a new home she didn't know. But this has helped her tremendously! Although I wish it didn't glow that tends to throw what little vision she has way off when she comes in from the yard.

   This was given to my mom's dog, a 16 year old blind dashund and it worked perfectly for her! It didn't take long at all for her to figure out what when she bumped into something she needed to find a different route of traveling. Would recommend this to any blind dog family.
