   I was woken up at 1 am by the sound of the kitchen, I tried to turn it off but it didn't work. I had to remove the battery. I tried again this morning and the stove switch doesn't work at all, if the battery is still in it. I don't mind trying to return it, the boxes have already been cleaned up by the cleaning department. I'm sure the sink will delight her but it's a shame when the kitchen has sound, light and cool steam coming up

   I bought this for my daughter on day one, she is 2.5 years old now and still loves it. Since then, I have bought one more for the other kids on the first day! Hers is still going strong, it's a lot less messy than letting her play in the real sink and we can take it outside when the weather is nice.    I read where some had the kitchen section stopped working. I think it's because there are gaps around the knob and burner so if water gets in it can cause damage. This is very interesting though, I will keep it and hopefully be careful not to let water get into unprotected spaces, it will work for many years. Not sure if it's for 3 year olds as they would be more careless with water. So be sure not to plug the plug into the sink and leave the faucet on it to overflow. LAUGH

   My 8 year old niece loves this toy. She played with it for about 2 hours after opening the box. The instructions make it easy to put together, but lack of care for the product. It says there is a protective gasket for the battery case but I don't see any so not sure if water could get into the battery case and cause damage. So I glued clear tape to the gap around the top of the battery box.
