I was a little sceptical after reading some of the reviews, but the price was certainly right on this set. When I unpacked the set, I was totally blown away by the quality. A much nicer set than some of my friends have for half the price they paid. Everything was in perfect condition. The chips are some kind of heavy synthetic material (clay?). They stack well and are nicely finished. The case is excellent and well fitted. Even the cards were good quality. I give this one 5 stars!

Someone mentioned that the ones that have two latches can come from any variety of suppliers, so I figured if this one has 3, that means the shipper is reliably using the same supplier. Also, I was concerned about people who say the chips are rough, smeared, etc. I can see what they mean if you're some kind of poker expert, but come on, get over yourself. I simply didn't want the cheapo plastic set from Wal-Mart because I like to play poker a few times a month and want the feeling of real chips. I wanted a case that's easy to transport and that's about it. This set is awesome.

I have had no issues with these chips, they have a heavy feel and clear colors. The only problem if it's a problem is the dealer, big blind, and little blind buttons. They seemed very cheaply made but I bought this set for the chips and not for the buttons.
