I was surprised how well these night binoculars worked and, yes, I think they do reach 100 metres. Amazing! Vision is B&W, of course, but I was also impressed that when you pan there is no evidence of jagged movements - it's quite smooth just as you would expect with a video camera. The only disappointment is that the tripod bush is inset and none of my several tripod screws could reach the thread of the socket; this surely is poor design thinking.
