   Got this unit for my son Christmas gift. Assembling of unit was easy and quick. Would like to see better lens storage containers as they do not stay together very well and lenses fall out if not careful. Unit is easy to get zoomed in and focused quick. Overall for the price it is a great unit to get any kid interested in space a quick eye on the things of unknown space

   We bought this for our daughter's 13th birthday. We looked at so many telescopes before we made the purchase. She was excited to put it together. It was simple enough for her to do it herself. We are impressed with it. Her first use she was able to get pictures of the moon. The details we saw were surprising.    I bought this telescope for my boyfriend's birthday. He has always wanted one and we have had so much fun learning to use it. It gives amazing views. We are amateurs and were so awed by our first look at the moon. The pictures I attached can be taken from the phone accessory, which is easy to use. Of course, the views directly in the telescope are even better, as you can really explore around the surface of the moon. We also got a pretty good view of Jupiter. Can't wait for warm weather so we can explore so much more!

   We bought this for our 22-year-old son who is graduating college and became interested in astronomy when he took a course, so while he knows a little bit, he's not that sure of himself yet, and after reading reviews we thought this would be the perfect starter telescope for him. It was very easy to assemble out of the box and he had it up on the tripod and ready to see some "rings of Saturn" (his words) in about 10 minutes. However, he knew it was cloudy where we lived and there would be no rings that night, anyway. That was not a deterrent to him finding out what the lens could focus on, and so he took it on our front porch and focused it as far away as he could across the street from our house, which turned out to be a bird perching on the lights for the high school football stadium, which is a QUARTER MILE from our house! I thought that alone was pretty impressive (see photo). He has since returned to college and been out to look at stars, is overcome with amazement and what he can see, and I'm waiting for him to upload some pictures to us any time. It IS easy to mount an iPhone to this telescope, and according to him, that is one of the primary reasons he loves this scope. Keep in mind it's his first, though. I do believe this is a quality telescope, though, having looked through it myself and seen reviews and done the research, and I know he'll use it carefully and enjoy it for many years.

   This is a good telescope. I saw the moons of Jupiter using only the 25mm eyepiece. The barlow lens is sort of cheap and made of plastic. I don't think the barlow works with the 5mm eyepiece, everything was always blurry, but with the 10mm and 25mm it worked. The mount broke and I had to use another tripod. This is a good telescope.
