   This game is ingenious!! What other game makes math so much fun for children and adults. I take this game to an assisted living home once a month. All the residents fight to play as well as their grandchildren, I highly recommend this game for anybody’s elderly mom or dad as it is so important to keep their brains stimulated.
   
   I was very impressed with the quality of the game; the box is made of natural wood and the numbers are printed very clearly and easy to read. 2 extra dice are included, which can come in handy at times. The box the game comes in has a beautiful design! In our house, we are all hooked on this game!!!

   Shut the Box is a new game for our family. We really like it! It's very easy to learn, and it's the kind of game that can also be adjusted with custom rules easily to make it shorter or longer. It plays fast and only requires very basic addition skills, making it a game that will appeal to a wide range of ages. We stay pretty busy as a family, so games like this that we can grab for short sessions are great. Victories are mostly determined by luck, though there is a small element of strategy at work too. This board is very attractive, with nice natural wood tones and solid construction. The number tiles flip smoothly and easily. The felt throwing surface is a nice touch, as is the inclusion of felt pads on the bottom to protect table top surfaces. Overall a very fun game and we're really happy with this particular set.

   This is a really fun and addicting game and it’s easy for anyone to learn to play. My wife and I enjoy playing it and our three kids ages 12, 9 & 6 like it and have no trouble playing it amongst themselves. It teaches and improves math skills, which we love because we homeschool. The game board itself is well made and it arrived with all the pieces, including a lot of extra dice. The only flaw we’ve seen are a couple of the numbers aren’t printed all the way, but we can still tell what they are. Overall we are happy to have the game and recommend it for all ages. It would make a great gift.

   OK, we are a board game loving family so this one looked simple enough and fun. We tried this game and even though - to me - the instructions looked imposing - my husband explained it and it's actually beyond simple once you jump into it. My teen son highly dislikes playing board games and even he played this and enjoyed it! A round with 2 people can take anywhere from 5-10 minutes. It is also a great tool to teach young kids that 8 can equal 8, 6+2, 7+1, or 5+3, in terms of this game. If I could make an improvement, it'd be to have heavier dice. Sometimes they flew pretty far when I rolled outside of the square, due to disability. I am very happy we purchased this game! :) :) Sometimes you need a really fast game that won't take days like Monopoly.

   I am surprised by how small this is. It's still a good quality toy, but a grown man may be hesitant to approach this one.
   
   Inductions are a little confusing, but once you get it, you get it. I think the hardest thing to wrap my head around was that you can only play one division per roll, not everything that can equal your roll. Also, each player's turn lasts until they can no longer push down a tile. You don't take turns, so it almost feels like you're playing by yourself, which you can also do if you wish.
   
   I'm not sure if I will keep this, since my partner is afraid of how small it is, but we'll see. They might all be small like this.

   I was honestly pleasantly surprised on how cool this was. I did not know what to expect in terms of enjoyment. I got this today and we have played dozens of games already.
   
   My boys (6th and 2nd grade) loved it. The oldest loved the strategy of deciding which numbers to close and the other was able to see how quickly he could come up with all the combinations that could be closed.
   
   My youngest (4) is a bit too young for the math part, but next year this will be a great way for her to learn her numbers. In the meantime she was very happy to roll the dice for me!
   
   I could even see this being a fun game for a group of adults.
   
   Construction seems to be very sturdy.
   
   Truly no complaints! I would recommend this for others.

   Now that we’re stuck at home, my husband wanted to try a new game that we could play with two (2) people. This is a simple game that’s easy to understand, once you learn the rules. The written rules, however, that’s included is not very well-written and not very clear. My husband had to find a YouTube video so that we could comprehend. Basically, each person rolls two (2) die and depending on what they roll, they try to knock out each number from 1-10 using the sum of the die or a combination of (a player can go down to just once dice if they eliminate numbers 7-10). This game is up to four (4) players and comes with eight (8) die. That’s where we were confused because we weren’t sure how many die to play with. The workmanship of the wood of this game is nice and made of good quality. This game can also be played solo. Because the rules are so simple, it can become boring over time but my husband seems to like it.

   A great game! We have been wanting this for a long time. I love that it’s made of wood and are sturdy. Even with four sides you can play alone or with other players. A fun game for all ages that can add or match numbers. The game is made well and will last for a long time in my opinion.
