I'm writing this review so that others might learn from my experience. I got a pair of these and they were easy to setup and relatively intuitive. Unfortunately my voice was faint over calls. I was going to return them until I decided to see if there was a firmware upgrade possible for these units. Turns out after installing the Jabra Direct software my units (and the dongles) had firmware updates available. After the firmware update, the units worked perfectly.

Buy this product for someone you hate, but you don’t want them to know about it. This product will last just after the “warranty” runs out and you can no longer receive help to get it fixed. I bought this item in July, and it decided to stop charging in Dec in the same year. Amazon customer service provided a number to a random person that can’t help either as if they’re also part of the joke. So if you’re looking for a speaker that will last. This one is NOT it. It’s cute tho.

I work from home. Because of this I have a lot of conference calls. I tested this with my colleague the other day and was comfortably able to pace at around 8 feet away and still be heard fine on the other end. The touch screen buttons for volume, mute, end call etc all work flawlessly with my windows computer using Skype for business (formerly Lync). The lights that surround it to show if you are muted and battery levels as well as volume are also a wonderful feature. Over time this thing will more than be worth the investment. I haven't tried Bluetooth connections as I don't have much use but don't know why it wouldn't be a nice additional feature. Very happy.

I don't give many 5 star reviews but this one is just the bees-knees for sound quality, functionality and ease of use. In fact I'd take this to work and use my cell phone instead of the speakerphone on the ubiquitous IP phones which are ever so present in offices today. Let's face it, we all don't want to spend several Benjamins or into the 4 figures for the commercial Polycoms but we also don't want something that lasts less than a couple years. I've bought the Anker brands and other affordable versions of speakerphones but they are fragile, lack a decent dynamic range and sometimes come with awkward controls or poor bluetooth connectivity (e.g. Bluetooth ver2.0).

I have had good luck with the performance and sound quality of two Jabra 710 units running in linked mode and placed in the center of a large U-shaped table configuration in a large conference room space. The microphone pickup quality of the units is able to capture the discussion of participants at the table, and also of the presenter standing at the front of the room giving a presentation. Participants do sound more "distant" the further away from the units they happen to be sitting, but are still quite audible and clear. Sounding distant doesn't matter to my use case, but sounding clear matters a whole lot. In the configuration that I use, I also equip the person presenting with a stick microphone connected to speakers in the ceiling of this particular conference room, so that the presenter's voice is amplified even more, and the Jabra 710 units pick this up well. But even without this extra step, the people dialing in are able to hear the presenter clearly. As to the clarity and volume of the speaker output of these Jabra 710 units, those of us sitting in the room are very easily able to hear clearly the voices of those who have dialed in, to the degree that the speakers on these units are better sounding than on most of the in-room table top phones more commonly found in smaller conference rooms. I also recommend ensuring that the units are placed at a "table top" level that is planar to the table height of the table at which your meeting participants will be sitting.

As a consultant, I'm always on my mobile phone in meetings. But sometimes, in those long conference calls, you really need the mute/unmute control and the assurance that you are (or aren't!!) muted. This little speaker has completely erased my fumbling with my phone to unmute myself when I'm asked a question and gives me peace of mind when I have to multitask. Lights are clear and easy to understand, setup was almost instant. Padded zip case makes it very easy to slip into a bag. And if you need privacy (but still want the great mute/unmute visibility) there's a headphone out. I love this little thing!

I've had the Jabra 510 for over a year and wrote up a detailed review on its excellent performance. I recently had a need to purchase a second speaker and went with the 710 this time around in attempts to dual-purpose it for playing music when I'm on the road. The 710 has performed 5 stars as a bluetooth/USB microphone/speaker for phone calls, and is a little better on music playback. I've tested it as a USB speaker for a windows 10 laptop, and a bluetooth speaker for both an Android V30 and iPhoneX phone models. The things I like better about the 710 over the 510 is:

What can I say but I use this daily and found it to improve my work from home experience with the need for some bulky handset sitting on my desk. I primarily use this for conference calls via SFB and Softphone clients. All my calls have been fine, not one mention of voice distortion or inaudible noises coming from my end. The audio from other participants is clear and Volume can get loud which is great for harder to hear environments. I have this place about 2 to 3 feet in front of me and speak naturally. While not on conference calls this serves has a music player for Spotify. Not great for music but does well regardless.

I purchased the Jabra Speak 810 for use during a larger meeting (40 - 60 participants). While it worked very well, I would recommend using the device as recommended by Jabra for a board room or medium-sized meeting space. Sound quality is very good. However, you may want to consider the Jabra 710s and pairing 2 of them together vs. the 810. Little more expensive, but provides more versatility. We also have 2 of the 710s and they also work very well. We have used the Jabra soft phones for a number of years and found them to be very reliable. Only comment that I've already shared with Jabra's very good technical support personnel is that I wish more of their products were able to be sync'd together (e.g., 2x 810s or 2 710s with an 810. I realize this creates some challenges, but if Jabra could pull that off, you'd have an even better product and many more loyal followers.

I really love this thing. So, one year later I decided to add some pictures for everyone as well. No one ever complains about my calls, even with multiple people in a large room walking around. It's also become a great portable music player when I travel and don't want to bring something else like a color soundlink. Not amazing HiFi, but to travel with an amazing, light speakerphone that can also play music is a plus. I've also used the usb stick a few times now on PC's that don't have bluetooth for skype calls and Zoom calls. Easy and without issues. This really is an amazing conference speakerphone.

Okay, everybody knows that in order to get a speakerphone with the quality of a drive-through window to work in an office, you have to be no more than about 4 feet away, project your voice clearly toward the microphone(s), and have carpeting in the room so that your voice doesn't echo off the walls and floors. And likewise, when listening, turn the volume up to 11 and crook your ear toward the speakerphone to have any chance of hearing someone who didn't follow above rules. Right?

First let me say this is not the first speaker I have tried out to work with our cell phones, but the first to work well with all of them and work very well. The speaker arrived on-time and packaged to protect the product well during shipping. Setup was quick and easy, the use of the speaker is very intuitive with the icons on the speaker for volume and Bluetooth. I was worried about the touch technology used on the rim of the speaker to turn it off/on, mute as well as answering calls, it has worked flawlessly. The sound quality for a speaker of this size is surprisingly good, the microphone has decent gain and works well as a speaker phone. The battery life has been good so far, charged it once and used it for a few weeks without recharging, mind you I am not using it all day but frequently and at an absolute minimum of an hour per day. I have plans to use it for movie night with my girls when we are away from home with the laptop too! I have already recommended this to others and bought an one as a gift too.

This is a very high-quality product, the sound effect is great, yet it is a very cute and slim design, I really recommend that everyone gets one. The reason I purchased it initially because my iPad internal microphone broke, to repair the internal microphone on my iPad cost about $300, and my iPad was relatively new, I purchased it about 2 yrs ago, couldn’t justify myself to purchase a new one, so I searched online and I found this product that could serve as an external speaker microphone, I got this, and it worked perfect, I am so glad that I solved the problem without spending $300, this one has a Bluetooth connection, so you don’t need any wire, it will automatically connect it to my iPad or iPhone, for any online conference or meeting or class, I simply place it next to my iPad, I can listen and talk freely. It has all the indicators for the battery life, to adjust the volume, the battery life is very long, I only charged it once so far, and I’m still using it. I’m thinking about maybe I can carry it in my car so I can listen to some music. I love it so much.

I just love this device! I had two different needs that various "bluetooth speakers" try to address: speakerphone and music. I first considered devices more aimed at music - like the JBL Charge, but their speakerphone performance isn't as good as this, they're bulkier, and they generally use a separate charger/usb-cable. I also tried having two separate devices like a Jabra Speak 510 for calls and another bluetooth speaker for music, but that just makes things messy and complicated. Finally, I tried the 710 (this device) and it meets both my needs really well. Call quality is fantastic and music sounds really good with respectable bass. It's not a bass-shaker, but it's plenty for me to occasionally rock-out in my office :) And plenty loud for multimedia presentations in a meeting room.

Long before COVID kept us in lockdown, I was working as an executive for a global company, meeting with my team who were primarily on the other side of the country. I tried a number of different phones, Bluetooth headphones and speakerphones. It's been three years and the Jabra 510 is by far the best speakerphone option I've ever had. Primarily because it doesn't feedback, no matter which video chat client I am using (Google Meet, Skype, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, UberConference, Adobe Connect, Webex, GoToMeeting, I've used them all). This thing will NOT create echos or feedback! I can crank it to full volume or drop it down — no matter what I do, I never have a problem with my audio.

I've had good luck with the older 600 series Jabras but this 710 is amazing. Great build quality, great sound quality in both directions, and VERY easy to use. Our whole office uses it, with Macs and PCs, Zoom and Microsoft Teams, as well as standard calls with cell phones. You have to connect BT each time but that's fine because everyone in the office can pair the device and potentially use it. The instructions were a little thin but the voice commands and guidance for all modes really makes instructions unnecessary.

I bought this at the beginning of a 12-week period of working from home because my ears were hurting so much. Pain from ear buds starts withing a couple of hours, and on-ear headsets have me in agony within a few minutes of putting them on. Over-ear headphones eventually cause pain but much sooner result in hot, sweaty ears. I used this for calls/meetings via MS Teams, Webex, Skype, and Zoom. All worked great. Sound quality and noise cancellation excellent. No echo. Worked flawlessly directly from my home computer and using remote desktop from my home computer to a meeting connection via my workstation at my office. Now that I'm back at the office, I use it here to get better sound quality and convenience that using my desk phone for audio. Very satisfied.

Love this thing. Sounds great on conference calls. "Just works" with Skype (Skype on the other hand, can be finicky itself). Tried for music, sounds really nice too. It is expensive (I paid about 190), but you get what you pay for. The wireless adapter works simply great and it seems to be lossless -- it is like having it hard wired, with no loss in quality whatsoever. Bluetooth works well for me too, but I don't think it is as good as being hardwired or with the wireless adapter. All in all, highly recommended for crystal-clear conference calls, and even for music on the side.

Very nice and high quality audio device. In brief, it mimics the conference speaker and microphone compo that you often see in every conference room's desks. It is a pretty compact and it comes with a pouch for you to carry it around while traveling. The software allows you to flash new firmware to the device. Works extremely well on MAC upon downloading the Jabra Suite for MAC. The mute button works extremely well, it is digital and has red LED to shows mute on/off. It also has volume control with white LED showing the volume level. Call and hangup buttons work well with Skype but are not currently supported by other apps such as Amazon Chime. If you need a professional audio quality microphone and speaker in one portable device, then this is your best option. I join several calls daily form my laptop and I tested at least 3 other devices and nothing in this price range match up to the Jabra 410. Quality and ease of operation make this unit the only unit i would highly recommend.

I bought this Jabra speaker phone since my ears were starting to hurt from wearing a headset all day while working from home. I'm frequently on web conference calls throughout the day. This item was just the trick. Sound quality is good, others can hear me clearly, and there is no annoying feedback or echo like my laptop microphone introduces. The handy mute and volume controls on the device means I don't have to fumble for adjustments on my computer.

When this speaker is working and plugged in, it works amazing. The sound quality is clear and people on the other end have not said anything about not being able to hear me. That being said, the speaker is only 3 months old and it has so much static on a regular basis that I'm missing important parts of business calls. Also, the battery does not seem to hold any charge so it always has to be plugged in. Maybe I have a faulty one, so I'll contact Jabra for support but heads up because I've seen other reviews having the same trouble.

This is by far one of the best small office conference speakerphones on the market today. I have been using this for 6-10 meetings a day in my home office, connected via USB using mainly Skype, with the odd Bluetooth call. I just returned from a 3 day customer business review that was held in a Las Vegas suite, 2 days of which we used this speaker for 8hrs straight each day. WOW! We had 7 people in the room, sitting 6-8 feet from the speaker and we could hear the other folks on the bridge well without distortion. Amazingly, they were also able to hear the rest of the conversation in the room and never once asked us to repeat the question. Given that this speaker has only 1 mic sensor.....that is pretty amazing. All calls were done via Bluetooth connected to ether an iPhone 7 or LG V10. Needless to say, there were many compliments and this little speakerphone definitely proved its worth. If you are hovering around the "buy now" button....just do it already! Totally worth the money!

This is my single greatest purchases to better deal with COVID-19 work from home requirements. I was spending a lot of time with headphones for meetings and it was very uncomfortable at the end of the day. This Jabra speaker made it all better! I just began video conferencing for working remotely. I’m told by my clients the microphone audio on their end is crisp and clear without static. The output on my end is also very crisp for communication. It’s not a speaker built for music (with bass) but excellent for human voice. I have it plugged into my computer via USB without Bluetooth and it works perfect. The volume buttons on it make it easy to control as does the mute button (to mute yourself). I can also control the volume of the speaker by the volume controls on the computer. Great product for the money

This revealed the bluetooth reached about 40+ feet and thru 2 interrior walls and I did NOT lose connection.

I like the fact that it's portable so I can move it around my desk if I need more room working on a project. I took it to a meeting the other day where we needed to conduct a conference call. We had several people around a 10' rectangular table. We placed the Jabra in the middle of the table. The sound was crisp and clear and no matter who spoke on our side, they were able to be heard on the other end. Never had a 'what', "can you repeat that"...Highly recommend for home office and small groups.

Absolutely perfect!!

I purchased so my family and I could listen and speak together while zooming with friends and for religious services and it works very well! The sound on both ends come through very clearly and I love being able to simply push the button on this device to mute/unmute. Perfect and exactly what I was looking for. The cord could be a little longer but it's not a big deal, I ended up purchasing a USB extender to rectify that issue.

Already had a 500 series that I've used for a long time. Got the 510 at the request of my company to go along with new laptops for our marathon concalls. Great anti-feedback/loopback echo and noise cancelling on this device. I have not used it via bluetooth...strictly USB up to this point, but have heard no issues from any of my cohorts. Never have any complaints that I can't be heard or audio is bad and it is always clear from my end (depending on the source of course). Consider this to be a top of the line speakerphone. Comes with a soft case for travel but they sell a hard case for it as well.

This product works great for Zoom meetings and for phone calls as well. The bi-directional feature and the sound quality make it seem like I'm in the room with meeting participants. People say the same regarding the quality of sound from my voice. I run a portable heater in my office in the winter and it can't be heard during conference calls.

I work at home and I spend a lot of time on the phone. Nobody complains when I am using this device. Sometimes when I'm starting up, the Jabra doesn't kick-in for a second or two (the build-in mic in the computer will be in control), and the person on the other end will ask what happened. They will say that the audio just suddenly became very clear.

We used the product as a speaker phone tethered to a PC that was presenting on Zoom. We had in-person attendees and virtual. this allowed us to all hear questions from the virtual attendees without having multiple speakers turned on (feedback). The microphone picked up sound reasonably well in a very large room (well beyond the distance it was designed for). We did find that if you were off to the side it didn't pick up sound as well but that was pretty easy to solve for. I would consider buying two and tethering if you plan to use in a larger space or have multiple speakers. the unit is very light and easily portable.

I work for a large global company with colleagues on nearly every continent. We're heavy users of on-line audio and video conferencing, and have standardized on Microsoft Lync and Lync-compatible in all our conference rooms. I wanted something comparable and compatible for my office so purchased the same Jabra Speak 410 speakerphone that we use broadly. It has proven an ideal solution as I get full audio control (volume up/down, mute, hang-up) from the speaker itself and so can use it both when I'm at my computer in a meeting solo or have other folks in my office and we need to participate as a group.

So glad I waited for the BT version of the Jabra Speak. They work perfectly as a speakerphone and the ring of red lights to signal when the mute button is engaged is priceless. Being able to clearly tell when your line is muted is what sets this apart from other devices. And the clarity of the audio for phone calls is great. Not once have I been asked if I'm on a speakerphone. As other commenters have said, it's not great for music, but it's good enough to do some casual listening while you work. And let's face it, this thing excels at being a speakerphone, which is what it was designed to be. In addition to BT, it also works as a USB speakerphone for a soft-phone on your computer. I like how the USB charging cable wraps around the base, but I do wish it could be disconnected and replaced. Since it's permanently connected, that could be an issue for someone who is prone to breaking their cables.

Finally, I spent some good money on a good quality product. No more "uh, you are breaking up, I cannot hear you", or lousy sound. This thing when volume is set to max, fills the room, and the person on the other end says they can hear me loud and clear. I normally have it connected to my laptop via USB, and use it with Skype, GotoMeeting, and WebEx. Sometimes, with a simple press of the bluetooth button, it pairs to my cell phone and I can make handsfree calls with great audio there too. Comes with a nice little carry pouch. It can be wireless via bluetooth, wired via aux cable or USB.

This has changed the way I have communicated through my Zoom meetings. I have spent almost 6-8 hours/day attending and running meetings and have not always been happy using my laptop bang olufsen speaker or my monitor speaker or my iphone 12 pro max speaker. This definitely improved my communication experience!

I use this at the office for computer based conference calls. Works especially well when I have others in my office who need to be on the call also. Sound quality is excellent and folks on the other end never complain about the quality and when I ask they say I sound great. I use it all the time with GoToMeeting, Skype, MS Teams, even when it's just me on the call. Volume could be louder at times, but not a major problem.

I bet you this speaker gets 3 hours of use daily on calls, and 5 more as my laptop audio source the remainder of the day. Love taking this to impromptu meetings and whipping it out on the table for a conference call. Everyone's always stunned that an iPhone and this little speakerphone can so effectively replace a system we all paid hundred and hundreds to install just a couple years ago. Totally worth it for a mobile or home-based workforce that takes a lot of calls, and way nicer than being stuck on headsets if you have your own office.

The speaker sound is amazing for such a small unit. Very robust and clear. No problems, easily syncs with everything ! Long battery life. You can also just plug the usb into a portable power battery if your going to be using it endlessly and need to be portable. Highly recommend. We use it at a meeting table for eight in our fairly large Forensic conference area (pic). Works fantastically.

Love this thing! I have a couple WFH days a week. I would go between headphones or cell-speaker phone for work meetings. Recently my cheap headphones stopped working and decided to look into a speaker phone type device. This one was a little pricey but it had good reviews so I gave it a shot. Totally worth the $83 I paid. I integrates with Zoom and Slack and other teleconferencing software. I can hear people much better, even the guy in the back of the conference room, away from the mic. I haven't had one "Can you repeat that.." request since I started using the Jabra. I find I even tend to make phone calls through the Jabra with Google Voice.

I participate in a lot of conference calls since I work from home. I am able to plug this easily to my MacBook pro and make sure in my settings are set to the sabra speaker for input/output. I don't use bluetooth since I wanted a "hard line" and something that wouldn't give me any potential issues. Works great and no echo issues at all using Skype or Hangouts (Google Voice). Folks on the line told me this sounds clearer than me using my cell phone (with headphones).
