Not only does it hold an appropriate amount of product, but it looks like it was always meant to be there. This is a heavy, quality piece. Installation was easy (with patience for waiting to use it required as the glue needs to cure.) As a caveat, our shower tile is very smooth so it really gripped. If you have textured tile I might cautious before ordering. That all said, I'm very pleased after weeks of use.
