Description

Portable Outdoor Shower

Whether hiking deep in the forest, surfing some waves or lounging poolside, everyone stays clean with the Battery Powered Portable Outdoor Shower. This easy handheld device draws water from a bucket, sink or similar receptacle, converting it into a gentle, steady, shower-like stream that’s perfect for everything from personal bathing to watering flowers.

Whether camping, hiking, gardening or cleaning, enjoy all the amenities of home without the need for plumbing. Simply place the pump in a bucket of water, and watch as it pushes a continuous stream up the hose and out the handheld showerhead.

Operating at a consistent .66 gal/minute, our portable shower offers ideal pressure that’s comfortable for infants, the elderly, small pets and delicate plants. Go from washing your kids or car to hosing down outdoor animals in a matter of minutes. Its applications are endless.

Shower anywhere, and limit your environmental footprint with a discreet device that quickly charges via an included USB cable. The lightweight, powerful gadget plugs easily into a laptop or 12-volt car adapter and provides up to 60 minutes of use on a single 2- to 5-hour charge.

Designed for ultimate convenience, the 1.9-pound unit comes ready with a suction cup holder, S-shaped hanging hook and flexible 6.5-foot hose. The system allows you to suspend it safely from a tree, against a car window or anywhere you need hands-free advantage.

Using a 2.5 gallon bucket of water, you can get approximately 7 to 8 minutes of use. This is plenty of time to wet, wash and rinse your hair and soap up and rinse off your body. A helpful tip is to turn off the device while you’re actively washing. This allows you to conserve more water and energy. If you use a 5-gallon bucket with this method, you’ll likely have over 10 minutes of continuous use.

While at home, simply plug the USB cord (included) into the unit and into a USB compatible device such as a laptop or computer. If your wall outlet has an integrated USB charger, that’s even better. If you’re on the road, you’ll need a 12V USB car adapter (not included), which plugs into your cigarette lighter for easy charging while camping, at the beach, on vacation or at the park.

This is really a genius invention! I bought this for my portable camping shower. I also bought a 23 liter or a little over 6 gallon collapsible bucket and a solar heating water bag to warm up the water during the day. I may just buy a black Bucket from Home Depot that has a lid, fill it up and let it sit out in the sun all day. I just received this and tested it out. I filled up the bucket most of the way and it continuously gave me 4 minutes and 22 seconds of water. If you turn it off while you wash your hair and soap up you could get twice as much time out of it. Or you can just simply place the shower head back into the bucket. There does need to be some extra water left on the bottom for it to be able to suck up. So the last picture is how much water was needed to leave in the bucket in order for it to continue running. You get 60 seconds of battery time.

This product is worth buying and works as described. The photo shows how many water holes are in the shower head compared to other camp showers. The shower comes with a hook for the shower head, but the hose is too short for my 5’7” height because the pump part must stay in the water bucket if the bucket is on the ground. I like this product and would recommend it to friends and family. That’s the short story. Keep reading for a detailed review.

I bought this for our sailboat because we shower from a tub of water heated on the stove. We've used it now for several weeks and are completely happy with it. The quality is good, the battery lasts a very long time - more than 10 days with 2 showers each day. My only problem with it is that the flow is a little too strong so it empties my bucket too fast. When you're trying to do an army 1-1/2 gal shower you want it to last! I have long hair and have not had any problem getting it rinsed with this shower.

This little shower head has worked perfectly for me. Was actually charged out of the box, so I could use it immediately. My only shower was not working, so I stopped up the bathroom sink, filled it a little and let the faucet run continuously. Once I dropped in the pump, it easily brought a steady stream into my shower. Just hung the shower head over my non-working one and I was good to go. Not as strong as a regular shower, but after sponge baths for 3 days it was wonderful! My four member family used it for two weeks until our shower was fixed. We charged it every 3 - 4 showers, and never wore it out. It is now my emergency/camp shower. Absolutely a great purchase I could not find in a store, and the quick Amazon prime delivery was greatly appreciated. Already paid for itself in convenience (and cleanliness)!

This little beauty worked great! We took it on our camping trip along with several camping shower solar bags (black bags that lay in the sun all day and heat up water) and a 5 gallon bucket (also black which made an additional "solar bag") and a small shower popup shelter. Used the bucket outside the shower tent to feed the shower head which ran up the tube an into the shelter via a little window near the top. For reference 5 gallons is enough for a quick shower and hair wash. My wife took 10-12 gallons but she has a lot of hair to wash. You get a little over 1 minute of shower per gallon.

This thing kept me from wanting to kill myself at the end of many long days when facing an ice cold outdoor shower in cold weather. Used it with a 5 gallon bucket and a bucket heater (Farm Innovators Model W-449 Submergible Bucket Heater with Attached Guard, 1,000-Watt), a stool, and a Wolfwise popup shower tent to create a seated shower. Lasted over 6 weeks of 2x day use. Batteries last many many showers before needing to recharge. Be careful to unscrew the components to drain them and flick water out of the shower head to get it really dry between uses. This was the least toxic hot shower rig I could think up with for temporary installation. Solar shower bags are mostly made of PVC-so your shower water is spending hours absorbing nasty chemicals from the bag while it heats and then going right into your pores. This shower head isn't made of any kind of special nontoxic plastic as far as I can tell, but at least the water isn't in contact with the components for more than a fraction of a second. Ivation could distinguish itself from the competition by making a truly nontoxic plastic shower hose model - noone else does. I also used a lead-free drinking water safe garden hose (Water Right Professional Coil Hose https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003P9XA96/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_59) and a drinking water safe nozzle (Scott's General Purpose Adjustable SprayNozzle https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JR1G3UO/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

We got this to throw in the camper for our summer trips but I use it to give our dog a bath instead. The pump works great, plenty of spray, and it makes giving our goldendoodle a bath so much easier! It is rechargeable, comes with a usb type charging cord. It's usually a month between washes so I just plug it in an hour or so before i'm gonna use it. It charges fairly fast. I'm not sure how long the charge lasts but its never run out during a bath. I'm glad we got it.

We are remodeling our kitchen and are going camping(after a respite of 27 years) later this year. I am shocked how the camping world gadgets have changed. Since we are remodeling, we set up our camping trailer as our temporary kitchen. I ordered this shower u it not only for our upcoming camping trip, but also as a way to wash our dishes with warm water with our temporary kitchen. I tested yesterday right after it was delivered and placed the head over a pot where the unit was placed into water. I was shocked as to how much water was streaming out of the shower head!. This is an amazing little piece of inexpensive creature comfort. It will make camping and delivering a warm shower so much nicer and easier! I am hoping this little workhorse lasts for us as well as it has for others. Demo is about to happen for our kitchen, and we will test the heck out of this as we need it to wash dishes. This will be our test to its function for the next 5-8 weeks. I will update if there are issues or problems..

This portable handheld shower is a life saver! My water heater broke unexpectedly so I didn't have any hot water to shower with as we had to turn it off so water wouldn't continue to leak out. With this portable hand held shower, 5 gallon bucket (you can get one at Lowes for about $5) and Secura SWK-1701DB Stainless Steel Double Wall Electric Water Kettle (available on Amazon), I was able to create a makeshift shower in my tub. This portable handheld shower charges easily on a USB port that I connected to my laptop. Once charged, I just placed one end into the 5 gallon bucket with hot water and I have an instant shower. I think this would also work well for camping trips as it's easily portable and can be charged in your car's cigarette lighter with a USB charger attachment.

I bought this rechargeable shower as a back up to my solar shower bag. I've used the shower a good number of times now, recharged it, and am still using the shower--satisfactory results. I does have a fast flow so that with a 5 gallon bucket of hot water I must turn the pump on and off. Rinses easy and thoroughly because it does have a strong water flow.

This is a great product. I highly recommend it for camping. My grand kids used it with ease. Just heat your water pour into a bucket set it in your shower tent and go to work. We put the wand in the bucket and let the unit run while soaping up without wasting water or need to turn it off and on. Stays charges great.

The delivery was faster than estimated. I assembled the Ivation shower unit per instructions and charged it right up via USB. I had purchased the unit for camping purposes this year with family and friends; and plan to take hot showers (heated by sunlight and/or fire) from a 7-gallon bucket of water. So for fun, once the unit was fully charged, my 9-year old son took his first of many bucket showers, not only to test the shower unit's water pressure and usability, but also to time how long a 7-gallon bucket of water would last. The Ivation unit successfully drained the 7-gallon bucket in just over 8 minutes. It worked excellent! Afterwards, I disassembled and hung to dry out before putting it into our camping supplies until Spring. I can't wait to use it camping! Thank you for such a cool product! I would recommend it to everyone! I hope it continues to work for years!

This has good pressure for such a little pump. Also, the battery charge held up for 4 quick showers in hunting camp. We realized that it didn't have a convenient on / off switch so we simply dropped the shower head back into the water when we wanted to pause the shower - then the water recirculated rather than being wasted. We've used it only for the one trip but hoping that it continues to perform in the same way on future trips.

Works amazingly well! We wanted a tub shower head hook-up to make washing our dogs easier than using a cup all the time. There were permanent kits but they are expensive, entail some hardware change-outs and even then, the reviews were mixed. There are snap in place adapters available. All our faucets are square and the kits I found were for round faucets. And even then, reviews of the kits for round faucets were riddled with poor reviews and fails. Saw this and it sounded very doable. We just put a bucket under the faucet, let the faucet flow into the bucket. Works awesomely!! Even better, we can use it outside come summer. we may even use it w a 5 gal bucket to water plants. I am very happy with how this worked.

I got this for our cabin because the shower was being worked on. We still had warm tap water so if you fill up a 5 gallon bucket with warm water, submerge the pump, hook it up, it gave plenty of time to do a full shower. It also had enough power to wash my hair clean enough. I have fine hair so it doesn't take much pressure. We used it all weekend, 5 adults, and charged it at the end of the last shower and it didn't loose any power, we just charged it because we were done. Great unit to have as a backup! We have also used it near the lake dock, again with a 5 gallon bucket of tap water, to rinse off seaweed and sandy feet.

My 6 month old water heater broke! Not a single plumbing supplier in California had the part to fix it so it had to be sent from the manufacturer in Tennessee. Bottom line is 7 days with no hot water. On day one, I heated a giant pot of water on the stove and crouched in the bathtub with a wash cloth and a bar of soap. It worked but was a pain. I found this and decided to try it. I was super skeptical to say the least but I'm blown away by how well it works! I boiled a giant pot of water and dumped it in a five gallon Home Depot bucket. Then I filled rest of the bucket with cold water which combined to make the perfect temp. The water pressure it puts is astonishing. I was expecting it to barely trickle out, but no. It streams! I've been in "real" showers with far worse pressure than this. Can't wait to take it to the beach to shower my daughter before she gets sand all over my car as usual! Couldn't be happer!!

Works really good. The hanging part is a little awkward till you get the jist of it. You have to hit the grooves and its easy to hang. Short inspection helps to figure that out. Cant just slap it up there quick which is a factor when you are trying to conserve water. But it works! Took a full shower with shampoo and conditioner rinse with LONG HAIR with under 20 liters. It would be nice if on off button was on handle, but who is complaining at this price. Its very functional for on the go! Worth the money.

This thing is awesome. I got it when I was having work done on my bathroom and didn't have a functional shower in my house. This worked well with a pop-up changing tent in the backyard, and I would use this combo for a luxury camping experience without hesitation. After my bathroom renovation, I have used it to bathe dogs in the colder months, when water from the hose would be too cold. The shower flow is decent - you are not going to power clean anything with it but it is strong enough to rinse shampoo out of hair. I usually fill a 5 gallon bucket a bit more than halfway with water warmed on the stove and that is enough water to clean a short or medium haired medium or large dog. The battery lasts for several baths - the water will run out way before the battery does.

I was pleasantly surprised, I charged it fully after getting it, and the next day left for a 6 day hunt in September, where it's still pretty warm in Eastern WA. Coupled with a metal 4 gallon pail, and my camp stove, this kept us clean for all 6 days (3 of us), I did recharge after 3 showers, though it wasn't out of need.

This is a fabulous invention and works very well. Easy to charge using the supplied USB charging cable. I have a power strip with a couple of USB charging ports so I plug it in there. The filter is super easy to clean (especially after bathing a shedding dog). We use this in our tub when bathing our dog because our shower/bath has a fixed (undetachable) shower head. This makes light work of rinsing and bathing your dog and seems to pump water at a rate that it produces a well-powered shower of water from the head. It has great battery life as well. This has made bathing our dog so much better and easier for us and even our dog likes it better!

I have not used for actual showering yet. I gave it a full charge and tried it. It is so easy to put together and to use is just as easy. I submerged the pump into the bucket and the water streamed out the head with a steady, strong flow. I was very really pleased. This is a great one. The bucket lasted longer than I thought. If you were to shampoo shoulder length hair and soap your whole body, I believe a bucket of water may just do a proper rinse. Depending on your size of bucket. The pump had so much power left which made me happy. One full pump will give you a few big buckets of water. Enjoy, it’s worth it

I lose power a lot during the winter with snow storms and now during high fire season. So this amazing product has been life changing! I save buckets of water to heat up and am now able to successfully shower with just one bucket of water. The spray comes out amazingly well and I am able to actually wash my long hair with it. My 7 year old daughter even uses this. It is incredibly easy to use, clean and comes apart to store conveniently.

This is a very nice and functional piece of equipment. It is also very nice looking! If there were simple shut off valve on the sprayer it would be perfect. As it is you have to reach down and push the on/off switch on the pump to stop it, which is a little inconvenient for me. I replaced the sprayer and hose with ones from a kitchen sink sprayer. That allows me to stop the spraying easily, thus conserving water, an important consideration where I go. Others have suggested just dropping the spray head in the bucket and let it recirculate. I suppose that would work too. But I think the shutoff valve on the spray head is better. I will admit that the original spray head is much prettier though.

They could easily charge twice what you pay for it! Fantastic buy! We use this one for when we get out of the pool to wash the chemicals off poolside outside. Full shower right there instead of water tracked to bathroom. I'm going to buy another so we can shower with fresh water on our pontoon boat. Buy it, you will not be sorry. The battery lasted through probably a total of 30 showers this last trip and shows no sign of slowing. The shower has plenty of pressure and the battery lasts surprisingly long. The battery also charges quickly and will hold a charge for quite a while. We initially purchased this outdoor shower to spray off the dogs when they get muddy in the yard. Which it works great for. What we didn't plan for was a family member having a long stay in the hospital. When it came to washing their hair, rather than use the traditional "shower cap" approach, we were able to bring in the charged shower and a few buckets and use real shampoo and conditioner to get their hair completely clean like they would at home. That one simple thing made them feel that much more human until they could come home. I cannot express how invaluable this one product was in improving their quality of life during their hospital stay.

Who ever invented this deserves a big wet sloppy kiss from me. Simple to use, make sure the charging port is covered with the included plug BEFORE putting in water. Fully charged battery lasted me at least 3 "showers". Constant pressure as well. Read the instructions to learn how to operate it. I'm 6'2" and the hose is long enough to let the handle spray my head with water. My advice is never to carry it just by the tube, wand, or pump alone. I always disassemble the hose so the 3 major parts can air dry after each use. Grey end of tube connects to the pump, red end connects to handle/wand.

Ok, We are avid campers. We have lots of camping equipment and that is our thing. We have a few other shower system some consisting of propane heaters and battery operated pumps. This is by far the easiest thing we have used. But It could use some improvement. I wish it had the On / Off switch on the head of the shower as you have to reach into the bucket to turn it off. It will drain a 5 gallon bucket in less than 5 minutes. It has high flow. I also wish it had a flow rate valve so you can adjust the rate of flow or if the pump had a adjustment on flow rate. I could very easily do this myself with a adjustable splitter and have it return back into the bucket but you would be draining the battery awfully fast to pump water back into the bucket as you got what you wanted out of the shower head. My wife loves this though as its less setup and we don't have to carry around DD batteries and propane tanks. We have some 5 gallon jerry water containers and we allow the sun to heat up the jerry cans and we show with hot to warm water depending on sun exposure.

We use this portable shower at the deer camp. We have no running water at camp, so this has been a life saver. We bought this in 2015 and have had no issues. We have a pop-up shower and our set up is simple: clean water in a 5-10 gallon bucket that is sitting on top of a crate (only for elevation purposes as the water line with the handheld shower isn't terribly long and it's important to always keep the pump submerged), and we add hot water in the cold weather that we have heated up in our turkey fryer (not to boiling). We place the entire shower unit into the water and turn on. As we shower, we simply put the shower head back into the water to keep cycling, so we don't have to keep turning it off and on. Two people can shower with our 5-gallon bucket. If a women is needing to washer her hair (mine is mid-back) I need the full 5 gallons for myself.

It is one of these things you don’t use right away so a 1 month return is not helpful. Very unhappy that this has a short return policy. Make sure it works so use it often the first month. Like I said my sons works great. I must have a bad battery.

Absolutely awesome device! If you're in a situation with no electricity and no running water this device is a life saver. It's as easy to charge as your cell phone and incredibly simple to use. Just immerse the pump in water and push the button. Excellent pressure for showering and washing hair. I needed this in an emergency, I warmed bottled water on the stove and filled a bucket.

What a great addition to our Teardrop camping gear along with our combo shower/toilet tent. Recently we filled two inexpensive solar bags which heated up to scorching hot, so we used one a day mixed with cold water in a 5 gallon bucket. As long as you understand it's a camp shower and you simply lather & rinse, it's quite efficient. We both washed with the one bucketful. The shower head provides an ample soft spray. The only fault I find is that the on/off switch is on the pump itself, so you have to reach down in the bucket to operate the shower head which seems a little awkward. It's just something to know. We've never run out of battery charge and it's chargeable through USB. Love it.

I saw some iffy reviews for this shower so I was hesitant to buy it, but since we needed it for camping and there were not a lot of other impressive options we decided to just try it. So far we have only used it twice but both times it worked very well. We used it with a 6 gallon bucket which was more than enough for our shower. My wife has long hair and said the water pressure was great for being able to rinse out shampoo and conditioner. While we lather up we just submerge the entire hand piece in the bucket as not to waste water.

this thing really is quite cool. bought it for a camping trip where I was not going to bring my trailer and thought it would be useful for both personal hygiene and washing dishes. it works surprisingly well. I didn't wash my hair with it, but you could. i'm going to take it with me when I go to the ocean and places like that where I want to rinse my feet (or dog) before getting in the car. it would be handy for watering plants in places you don't have a hose as well....just take a 5 gallon bucket of water and spray with the hose. i'm going to take it kayaking as well to rinse my kayak before putting it on my car. seems to hold a charge for a very long time.

This item was like music to my ears when I discovered it. I currently have to wash my hair with bottled water because our pipes are currently made of copper but our well water is too acidic currently. After months of pouring bottles of water of my head in order to wash my hair, I was more than happy when this little gem showed up! Now I can buy the big jugs of water and use this item and it actually feels like Im getting to wash my hair with a real shower! This is the most convenient gadget since the smartphone!!!!! Its rechargeable and each charge lasts me weeks and weeks! I wish I would have known this little device existed when I had my boat and would do a lot of camping. It could have saved me so much headache! By far one of my most beloved finds on Amazon to date! You wont be disppointed! It even comes with a suction and hook so that it can be hung up which makes the shower experience even more realistic and pleasant! I also use it when I need to rinse of my daughters high chair with warm soapy water. I just fill a bucket and bring it to the yard and spray away! If i still had my little puppy, I would for sure be using it for all the puppy baths, and Ide be able to do so outside instead of my tub inside!!!

This thing is AWESOME. The plumbing in our camper on our hunting land is shot. I bought this so we could still shower. I bought a larger outdoor shower stall (texsport deluxe), put our turkey fryer in there, fill that with water and heat it up then drop on this contraption. Hit the power button and oh yes baby, a nice hot shower. The only issue I don't like is that it has to be recharged through a usb that is specific to this item so if you misplace the charger you are screwed. Would be nice if they had used a standard mini-usb so I could use the same ones I use for my phone. Also, draining it enough to take it out of the shower stall and inside the rv for charging is challenging. Just when you think you've got all the water out you will splash a little more on yourself. I'm still giving it a 5 star though because those minor inconveniences don't even begin to outweigh the awesomeness of a running shower head vs dumping a cup over your head a zillion times.

We love this camping shower! Makes camping trips so much more enjoyable. We use it hooked to the side of our jeep. The battery easily lasts an entire camping trip and the hose is the perfect length. I do wish it used a standard USB port (USB-C preferable), as I lost the cable that came with it and had to buy a new universal AC adapter for it. Also the cover for the power button is easily lost, but really doesn't matter if it does as the actual button is water proof. I'd definitely buy this again!

I've tried several solutions for some kind of camp shower, and this is hands down my favorite. I broke an expensive instant hot water system the first time I used it when it tipped over. I also have one of the solar showers, which works really well for getting warm water, but getting any kind of water pressure is impossible and getting close to clean with it was difficult. For the price point, the Ivation system is wonderful. While it doesn't heat, I found it easy enough to either use a solar bag, or boil some water and add to my source to get it warm. When it's 100 degrees out, I don't even bother since cool water is appreciated. It is very easy to both charge and use, and provides enough water pressure that you feel like you are getting an honest to god shower that gets you clean. After the pains with previous solutions, I couldn't be happier with how well this works, and for a great price.

This is probably the single most useful product I’ve added to my camping gear this year. Call me a “glamper,” but by day 3 I’m ready for a shower. I’ve never had good luck with those solar shower bags, so when I saw this, I was about to take camp bathing to the next level lol. I had already bought a shower/potty tent, so I planned to just hang the shower head on the loop inside the tent and drop the pump into a 5 gallon buck of hot water. My first test run have me just about 5 minutes of nonstop water with a full bucket. The pump actually runs for a long time between charges and can be charged via usb in your car. My only problem was that the shower head would spin on the loop of fabric in the shower tent. The hose from the shower head to the pump is really long, so I ended up feeding it through a piece of pvc pipe and duct taping it to the inside of the bucket. Then I taped the shower head to the pvc pipe so it would stay put. It worked perfectly!!! So now I just boil water in my big stock pot and pour it in my bucket with a little cold water to fill it up and enjoy my shower! I highly recommend this product. It’s also great for washing your dog in a kiddie pool :)

I just took one shower with this thing using a 5 gallon bucket for water. It did a good job at what it was supposed to do. I didn't time how long the water lasted, but I'm going to guess at 5 minutes. Plenty for a guy to take a shower w/o having to hurry too much. A woman with long hair will likely need two 5 gallon buckets. My only complaints are: The hook isn't very stable and will let the shower head swivel around. That's damn annoying. Some kind of clamp would have been better. And the "on/off" switch is at the suction end and not the sprayer head. It would have been nice to be able to turn it off w/o having to bend down and grab the pump, but this would have required a wire run through the hose, which would have been an extra expense and a reliability liability, so I guess that's understandable. Five stars for working good.

Really nice little product. So nice that I had a friend yesterday come over and I got kind of distracted. What I was doing was I was extracting water out of my Barrel that I had just bought and putting it into these 5-gallon jugs so I can use it to take showers with. Well let's just say that I have no more 50 gallons of water in my Barrel. That little sucker work too well LOL. It charges well with me I used the Rockpal 250 watt charger. It stays charged for a long time. Even after it drain that 50 gallon barrel it still was working. Has a lot of pressure to it too. Where it was taken 5 gallons or more of water to wash down the other way. Now I used 3 gallons of water to wash off with and I have long hair. For me it has been a great little unit I'm really glad that I purchased it.

I love this shower! We are living off the grid for the summer. We mostly bathe in the lake, but as the temperature drops in late August we set up this shower and it is heaven. My genius husband thought to heat water in a propane fired turkey fryer he had trash picked. We paired it with a Browning tent for privacy, placing both near the beach to draw water from the lake. The water heats up quickly and the 5 gallons is easily enough for two showers. I gave it a 4 star rating on suction power, just because most people will find the water pressure a little low, but totally adequate for the job. We bought this with low expectations, since it looks like a toy, but it really, really works.

Very refreshing to order a product listed as new and it actually arrives looking new and in the original box. Amazon boasts and promotes it's " Frustration Free Packaging". I have received multiple items that are thrown into a bag and look like store returns. I find it difficult to believe that a marketplace would remove factory packaging and be paying to have the packaging hauled away. It is especially annoying when purchasing a gift and it looks like it was purchased at a yard sale.

Very happy with this portable camp shower. We've actually been using it in the bathroom as we are redoing some plumbing in a very old house. I feel a little like The Money Pit, but this has worked very well for our needs. The flow is not very strong, but good enough for rinsing. It sucks up the water pretty quickly, so we get wet, turn it off, soap up and turn it back on. But then you have plenty of water left to just stand there and enjoy the hot water (or whatever temperature is your preference). We use a 4 gallon tub inside the bathtub and I have a toy hippo under the front edge to keep the pump in the deepest part of the water as long as possible.

My hot water heater went out. This thing saves our household. For us, the recipe for a good shower was 56 oz (One gallon minus 8 oz) of boiling water in a 5 gallon Home Depot bucket filled the rest of the way up. (It's hot in Houston in the summertime and the water is already a little warm. Honestly, as soon as the heater was fixed we went back to regular showers but yeah, this thing rocked. I am soooooooo happy with the performance. The pressure isn't what you get out of your home shower, obviously, but it's adequate and you can take a real shower.

Your hot water heater has been on the fritz for 3 months and you’ve been going back and forth with home insurance and warranty. It’s getting cold, autumn is ending and winter is closing in on us. The water straight from the pipes runs a nice 42°F on a chilly day, night, morning, week, or month. So of course you look up other options. I found this, I knew I had a couple 5gal buckets from one of my jobs. Boil water mix with tap temp and you have a nice hot shower! I’m sure putting it in a tub and recirculating would work too. But that’s up to you on cleanliness. I always put it in plain hot water. No soap or any oils as to maintain its longevity because this is a hell of an invention, and a great emergency shower. Talk about being prepared !

This little thing has saved the day quite a few times. I can now wash the dogs away from the hose, and clean my feet and hair while camping. It pulls a surprising amount of water pretty quickly though, so I do find myself running out of water really fast. I have, a few times now, had to walk my 5 gallon bucket back to the hose to fill up again, before finishing the dog's bath. I would say you get about 5 to 6 minutes from a 5 gallon bucket, if it is running consistently. I turn it off pretty quick between rinses though, so timing might not be the most accurate.

This works. I wish I knew about this damn thing years ago. I would have thrown away my damn solar shower with the damn bending hose that only allows for a trickle of water. I like this thing. I bought a couple of 5 gallon orange buckets from Home Depot; filled them with water; heated half the water on the stove to a boil; add the boiling water to the half bucket of water and stick the pump from this thing in -- you have reasonably hot water. And it works and pumps like a regular shower. The only thing I did to ensure that the water seal was tight where you charge the pump is put a piece of plastic over the hole and then screwed the plug back on....this serves, somewhat, as a gasket to make sure the contacts didn't get wet.

I purchased this shower because I had a golden retriever on the way, and fully expected to have a water dog and the only thing worse than 'wet dog' smell is 'wet dog from saltwater' smell. As I wanted to get him used to a portable shower as a puppy, actually got it before he was ready to come home with me. This shower has turned out to be one of the best dog related purchases I have made.

Great for camping. We took this with us and a 5 gallon bucket and it was perfect for rinsing off at the end of the day. 5 gallons lasted more than long enough for me to wash myself and my son off and the pump puts out a good amount of water so it still feels like a normal shower. Tip, we figured out for anyone wanting a warm shower with it, we boiled a couple pots of water on our camp stove until the bucket of water was a nice temperature and it felt as good as a shower at home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that needed a solution to camping places with out a bathhouse.

This is truly a wonderful product. It is being used in a situation where the city tap water is being heavily treated with some toxic chemicals, which has led to allergic reactions, and swapping out the existing shower head for one with a filter to remove these chemicals is unfortunately not doable right now. So the current solution for a shower has worked out to using this great tool in conjunction with a five-gallon bucket. The bucket is filled with filtered water from the bath tub tap, using a KDF type filter, along with a water-soluble additive to further purify the water, then the pump is inserted into the bucket and it's ready to go, resulting in an excellent shower.

This item is perfect for a shower on my balcony during warmer months. I usually do some BBQ and since I live in a building with no pool and I can't go to the beach due to Covid-19 my weekends basically consist in grilling some steaks, having a beer, listening to old school 80s music and having cold refreshing showers. Not bad! Just make sure you have a large bucket (you can get a 5 gallon foldable bucket on Amazon for $10). The battery for this potable shower last for many hours and it will also be useful when going to the beach.
