Description

Plant Root Growing Box

Plant Root Growing Box was created especially with the cutting globe design, it can help your cuttings get stronger roots and thus reproduce more mature plants faster than normal Spread method.

Features:

  • Using the ancient method of air stratification, that is, the roots are directly grown on the branches to replicate existing plants and produce new plants. It also applies to Indoor and outdoor plants.

  • No damage – it does not damage the parent plant at all, because it only uses a small branch on the plant you want to clone, so there is little interference, no will it interfere with the natural growth of the plant.
  • Safety locks – designed with plugs and corner locks that interlock with each other and are fixed to the branches to secure the spreader in place, even if there are no rods underneath.

  • Reusable – The breeding shell is durable and can be used repeatedly, so you can clone more plants according to your preferences.
  • Four small holes: Bundling through four small holes is stronger and more efficient than four corners.

  • Observation port: Use black tape to seal when not in use. Prolonged ventilation will affect the rooting time.
  • Water inlet: The diameter of the water inlet is increased to facilitates watering.
  • Adjustable the bottom can be to the diameter of the branches

Get these on as early in the growing season as you can and give them time do not keep opening them make sure they keep some moisture in there I use a small soda bottle to water the tops. Make sure these things get packed with your routing medium whatever you’re using and give them the time they need air layering isn’t a fast way to route but you get bigger plants it just takes more time. I love them and it works

Having fun with this. While this is a newer product, the process has been around for years. It's simple and it's fun. There are many video's to get you started. I'm going to be modifying a few of these so I can use zip ties to close them rather than running zip ties around them. They do not snap back together around a plant the way they do empty and it's recommended that you use tape or zip ties to hold them tight. A min with a drill, no problem. I will say they are worth the money. After the video's yes you can just use plastic wrap or a bag but for most things, that would be a pain. Some plants 2 wks, others take 2 months and growing season the major factor. Read up and enjoy, this really does work.

These are easy to use. I am still waiting on the results but expect nice root balls to form inside. I am using sphagnum peat moss as a medium, and am replicating hydrangeas to make an informal hedge. I expect to be able to use these for years. These are self-locking but in some cases, did need a tiny bit of hole widening to lock in place. I used the tip of a sharp knife in a circular motion. Worked well.

I love these little things. I know it wouldn't be too hard for me to fashion my own air layer propagation thing with plastic wrap and/or plastic cups but using one of these is super easy. They're reusable and hold moisture in well. It's also possible to add a little bit more moisture when needed, either through pouring some in or opening and closing it.

I bought these plant rooting devices in three size, because I do not know which size works better. The largest ones seem to be too big. So far I have used the smallest size. It works fine. Although the two halves do not close tightly, I tie a piece of wire through the pre-drilled holes to hold them together.

Haven't used them yet so I'm not sure how well they work, but they seem very sturdy and durable for many uses

This spring I started using these rooting balls to reproduce roses and other plants by air layering. In my first batch of 20 tries, all but one was successful. These results were shockingly better than I achieved via cuttings - one batch using these balls + IBA rooting hormone gel produced more rooted roses than 100+ attempts cuttings, and much faster too.

These work great! I had to use a knife to get the holes slightly bigger which was not an issue. I would buy these again.
