The lights inside my apartment were on and you could still only see the glow of them and nothing else, even with my bed being about 2-3 feet in front of the window. The lights are on the left side of the room, opposite my bed. Camera didn’t capture that glow but it was there. Even with a LOT of air bubbles, some gaps and wrinkles, the mirrored effect still works great and peels off easily. Great product!

Works perfect. Used it for master bedroom slider. Added privacy and keeps room cool. No instructions came with it but I watched a utube video. Wash interior window well. Cut it 1 inch longer and wider than window. Use spray bottle with water and a couple drops of dish soap. Spray window and film. I used a 6 inch squeegee to get most of water out and a credit card to remove any remaining bubbles. Trim with utility knife and 6” putty knife as a guide. Plan 20 minutes to half hour a window.

All of our other windows are covered with foil, but the cats need to have some access to view the world. Because of this our sliders were uncovered and the dining area hovered at around 90 degrees. Now after about a 30 minutes its all of 80. The cats can still see the world and i have a cooler, and more private front room. I will be ordering more. As a sidenote, this is not flimsy, its pliable but thick enough to be confidently removed and put away for winter (save the tube to wrap it around if you do).

Unfortunately, to see who is at the door, you had to be in a certain room. This was just crazy to me! In came this one way film. I have not completed this yet- frankly it’s a pain to cut curled up film and I get frustrated. But once this is cut properly, it goes and adheres with ease. I use a solution of dawn and water in a spray bottle. Spray generously! Then use cards to get the bubbles out. I have also done my office window with this and love it!

I am in no way experienced with putting on window film, but found it wasnt that hard to do. Just make sure you spray both the window and the film with water before applying it. The film has definitely made a difference in her room. I had to use 2 rolls for her window becuase its a large window.
