This is super easy to install. I installed under my night stand which is thick maple. You place the charging pad on top and presto -- phone begins charging as soon as you put it on the night stand. Now I know exactly where my phone is and I don't have a cord hanging on it when I want to grab it. The thing I like about this is you can put the charging pad under any kind of covering you may have on your table or night stand so it becomes invisible.

It seemed closest to what I wanted: a built-in metal plate and not too bulky. It wasn't 100% clear to me that the case front would extend higher than the glass, so until I got it, I was apprehensive. It does, and seems a good trade-off to not make the case too bulky but to keep the glass off the surface when placed face down. The magnetic plate holds nicely to my car magnetic holder. The back is about perfect height to keep the camera bump off the surface. If I were to design the case, it'd be nearly this exact design (I wouldn't have included the circle to show the apple logo). The case has a reasonable amount of grip to it. I've had a case with a bit more grip, but it wore horribly. Wish there were color options, but I like green, which seems to be hard to find even when options are available.
