   i ordered the Cat Laser toy, my cat likes it so much. As i have opened it, i plugged it right away to try it, it works well. But hopefully one day, it would have a more wide space to light on, not only turning round and round.

   Picked this up for a very energetic and needy kitty who always wants attention, so that he might be able to have some fun while I'm at work. He loves it, if he's in the room when it turns on he will almost always get engaged and chase it around, so it's great in that regard.

   This is the favorite toy of my two newly adopted kittens - they love chasing the dot and the 15 minutes on / 90 minutes off seems to be a good balance where they don't get sick of it and are excited when they notice it's on. Have only had it a few days so can't speak to durability yet but frankly if it lasts a few months we'll have gotten our money's worth. They go nuts for this thing, and the pattern is just unpredictable enough it keeps their attention - it sticks in an oval pattern but changes direction, moves back and forth sometimes, and sometimes pauses for a second or two before moving again.

   I have two 14-year old cats. One who loves laser points. And this item did not disappoint! I was very hesitant to pay so much for a cat toy, but my cats need exercise and stimulation and I'm not always available to play. My cat will chase the moving red dot for a while (on the slowest setting, which is a perfect speed for my slow cats) and then spend 1/2 hour or more just transfixed by the red dot. She howls when it shuts off and I have to go back on turn it on for her. The other cat enjoys torturing his sister by sitting in front of the laser cat and blocking the red dot. So really, it's fun for both cats. If you have cats that like lasers, this toy is great for them! I haven't really tried the other settings because we like the slowest/closest one but I imagine you should be able to find a setting that works for your cat.

   The cats really like this toy but my dog probably likes it the most. It is easy to use and made well. I like that you can change the angle of the light so it will shine on different areas. I also like the fact you can plug it in or use batteries.

   This toy is great! We bought if for our two cats and they love it! We like that it has both automatic and manual modes. It’s so great to have a toy that they can play with independently. The video shows manual mode which really gets them going fast. On automatic they tend to observe more and track it before pouncing. I’ve been using it with rechargeable batteries so hard to comment on how long batteries will last. I have not tried plugging in via USB. The motor is super quiet which is nice too. We tend to leave it on because after the 15 min it turns itself off automatically and so we forget to manually turn off. Again not a big deal for us with rechargeable batteries. To turn on manual mode you just need to hold in the button and the laser will hold still. I highly recommend!

   Who would have guessed that my 11 year old kitty would be so excited by this product! I have known for a long time that she likes to chase a laser pointer, but I have not tried one with her in the past couple of years. She really likes this product and though she does not chase it frantically, she waits for the dot to come by and then jumps on it and does a little bit of chasing. Still more activity that I’ve seen from her in a long time! I do like the Automatic function, though I wish there was a way to adjust both the duration of the laser activity and the time in between laser activations. You might have to try several different heights for the unit before finding the right width of projection across your floors and walls, and perhaps finagling the unit so that it’s slightly tilted would help. But, for the price, I’m not complaining!

   My kitten LOVES her laser pointers, but was starting to get a little obsessed. If she heard me grabbing it, she was UP and ready to pounce. I love that this pointer has a slow and fast setting, and it just goes on randomly. Sometimes the cats will just watch it, tuckered out from their last chase. Sometimes they are both up the second it turns on. A few reviewers were mad about the laser climbing the wall, probably they should be more mad that they didn't look at the super basic directions. You just have to adjust were the laser goes, and I started it super low then adjusted from there. It's great, it's quiet, and my cats (and dog) LOVE it!

   I bought 2 - one for my daughter's cats (still going strong) and one for mine (stopped working after 6 months). The seller Yvelife honored its pledge to replace free of charge without having to return the old one. I wrote to them today and THE VERY SAME DAY they sent off a new one. I'm impressed. My cats will be grateful - one of them begs for me to turn on the toy every day. The toy is stable and quiet (unlike another brand I tried). The speed of movement is just right (unlike the other brand that was insanely fast). I like that therre is a choice of laser arcs - so if you don't want your cats jumping at the walls (I don't), the beam can be set to remain on the floor.

   A few days in and the cats love this thing, wish I got it before I went on a trip. I'm not sure about the 3 hour thing, it seems to start going whenever it wants at random times, currently it just came on an hour and a half after the previous time, but that's totally fine. It's truly very quiet so it doesn't bother me and the fact that you can put it up out of the way is great, my little trouble maker would stand on the kind you put on the floor until it turned back on so this type avoids that, no part of this little machine moves besides the laser completely inside the head, so it doesn't really draw any attention.
