We didn't use the lifter thing, but having the hard plastic sliders to move our heavy furniture on carpet was great. We left the heavy furniture sit on it for a couple weeks during painting and flooring. The blue foam did crush down with the imprint of the legs, but that didn't affect the usefulness. When we need to move off the old carpet onto the new wood floor, we just pulled out the blue foam piece and used it to slide one and it worked great. My flooring guy said he has used the lifter thing and it works great.

Had to wait a few days to get it but its works. I had 4 pads from a pervious purchase but had 3 big pieces to move and needed a tool to lift up the dressers. As I had injured my knee a few months previous and was not as nimble as previous to moved around easily and put pad under furniture. This Works and Works Well..... I wanted to lay a new linoleum floor in my kitchen and needed to get sliders under the legs of the stove and refrigerator so that I could move them. I had a cheaper "lifter" but just didn't feel confident in it. I looked for a better one. This has the fulcrum positioned in a more mechanically advantageous point along the shaft and the fulcrum itself is a series of wheels so the resistance is low when you apply pressure. I though I would have to stand on the handle to lift the appliance enough to get the slider positioned with a yard stick but I didn't. I was able to kneel next to the appliance, bear down on the handle and place the slider under the legs with ease.

A fantastic tool for moving heavy furniture! My electrician told me about it when I was faced with the daunting task of moving a very heavy armoire for him to do work. He had his own EZ Moves, told me how easily it works ("My 120 lb wife is constantly moving our furniture around, and this is what she uses!"), so I bought my own without hesitation. We used it for the armoire and is glided smoothly across our wood floor without a scratch. Totally recommend!
