   Compact size, accurate readings at realistic hunting ranges, comes with a battery. Easy to use. Fast “On”. Bow and .22 Long Rifle shooter’s delight for zero, ranging and hunting. Bests estimating ranges by steps. Some users mentioned having problems using this device wearing glasses. I was able to use it wearing glasses, although I did have to press them close to my face. I tried it out at dusk to simulate ranging near the end of legal hunting hours. No problems. Yes, the aiming box was sometimes hard to see, but not enough to downgrade my rating. One reviewer suggested tilting the device towards a brighter background to read results and this worked great for low light conditions. I was able to range livestock and tree trunks well past 100 yds easily. 450 yds was no problem with a large enough object to reflect the laser light back to the unit. Suggest ranging known landmarks in advance if low light/range is an issue. My first laser rangefinder purchase after much research. Would highly recommend this item/brand and will consider it as a future gift purchase!

   So far so good. I was concerned with buying this as other reviews said the lcd display was hard to see as my last wild game rangefinder display was nearly unreadable. I took the chance and bought one. ($50) I took it out this morning and was impressed. The LCD display is plenty bright and in tries to get a decent picture of that as you can see. It does have the angle but does not do the math for you. Feels heavy and sturdy. If something changes I'll update this review. This is a great little range finder for any bowhunter.

   Push the button once, there's your distance. Totally worth the price. Compared to my old Simmons range finder where I'd have to push the button multiple times in order to get a measurement. I only archery hunt. For the distances I shoot, this is just what I need. Highly recommended.

   Used this on a recent hunting trip. Distances measured matched up with the distances given by the guides. Compared distances with my buddy's range finder and they were within a yard or two of each other. Display is clear and easy to read. I played around with these when I first got them and while the unit isn't lit, if what you're distancing is lit up you may be able to read the display in low light/night. I was able to distance a car under a streetlight down the street at night. The reviews seemed mixed on this but I'm glad I snatched it up when it was a deal of the day. Came in handy on the hunt. I was able to get some readings of 453ish meters but that was the max I saw which is fine since this claims only 450m capability. The controls are easy it's only 2 buttons. 1 changes the modes yards, yards with angle, meters, and meters with angle. The other turns it on and is used to get the distance. Focus ring works well too.

   I use this to range for bowhunting from treestands. I used it to sight my bow in so I can be sure that the ranges I get in the woods match my sights. The low light issues with reading the display are easily fixed by quickly pointing the viewfinder to the sky and using the lighter sky back light to read the digital display. It's a great add to my field bag for bowhunting year round in all weather. Glad to have it, and it's been the best way to train my eyes what distances look like. I'm now better at gauging distances to the point where I may not need it anymore. Highly recommended to eliminate guess work and human error in the woods.

   This is my first rangefinder. I am more than happy with it, but I may not be the best judge. What I can say is that it is very easy to use and the AI function is extremely accurate. After accurately measuring distances at 20 and 40 yds, the range finder register +/- 0.1 yds at those distances. For traditional archery, this is more than accurate. I am using the Halo 450 to find distances AFTER I shoot. This helps me to better approximate distance, as I shoot instinctive archery. In my book, it is worth every penny.

   I just opened this and tested it in my back yard... It works great! I tested it in low light conditions at 8am on a cloudy foggy morning. The display numbers were crisp and dark and easy to read (some reviews said display was dim, not my experience). I had 20 and 30 yard targets marked out. This range finder read 21 and 31 yards. Good enough for me! It even came with a battery which was a pleasant surprise.

   Was leary due to some bad reviews, Halo X450 Amazon deal of day price 55 bucks, had to pull trigger. Works perfect. Focus lense once and done. Michigan hunter. Reading gets darker once focused, those that say is too dim probably didnt focus. Measuered 30, 60, 120, 210, 330 yards, by hand. Accurate +/- about a yard, sometimes 2. But come on, fitty bucks. Get it, wont be sorry. Dropped a coyote at 55 yards with crossbow first day. Perfect shot, thanks to this rangefinder.

   So far I really like this rangefinder, I got the XL450. I haven’t used it for any weird slope angles or anything, just on flat land when I was last hunting. It’s really helpful to have and now I wish I had one for the last few years. Checked accuracy at a golf course where they had yard markers and everything, it’s pretty much on the money. Great price compared to a lot of ones I looked at before buying it. Bought a Aenlossi Hard Case for it on Amazon as well, $10.99 and fits just right.

   I used it for the first time this weekend and I shot my crossbow with confidence knowing that I had to aim a little high. I had the trees around my blind spotted with yards so I knew when a little doe came into my shooting lane. I knew exactly how far away she was and killed her with a double lung shot. All you do is find your target, push the button and you see the range within seconds. Very easy and made it so I did not have to guess the yardage.

   I needed this rangefinder so that I could accurately place steel targets in my backyard to shoot at from a safe distance. I’ve also used it at outdoor range that did not have distances marked off on the ground. This rangefinder enabled me to place targets at the distance I wanted without guesswork. The image is clear and the numbers/letters are easy to read. I just wish it came with a case or bag to prevent it from getting damaged, otherwise I’m pretty satisfied with this product.

   I used this on my 9 day Colorado elk hunt. It was used and abused. It feels cheaply made but held up to being thrown in my pack, fallen on, sat on and dropped. I was able to get ranges out to 1200 yards. It helped me harvest a 4x4 bull at 450 yards.

   Pretty accurate, I get fast reading out to 300 yards/meters but after that it takes a second to give you an reading. But for the money you can't beat it. Customer service was great to deal with. My first one broke on the first day, it just stopped reading at any distance. I sent it back, they gave me a shipping label to return the old and sent me a new one. The one I have now works great, no hiccups and it's been about 4/5 months now. I'd recommend this range finder for any shooter/archer

   I wish I would have had one of these years ago. It's very accurate to 400+ yards and simple to use. The only thing I could complain about is that you have to remove your glasses because of the eye relief factor to reed the measurements, but it's not enough of a problem to keep me from giving it 5 Stars.

   5 stars because of the saying "you get what you paid for!" It ranges good and fast. I only used so far out to 100 which is what I needed for right now...you either will have a clear visual of target and out of focus range number or clear focus of range number and out of focus target...but in either case the out focus is not bad to the point where you cannot discern what it is or says so either way its manageable.

   Quite pleased with this unit. I get why some people have trouble reading it. The LCD read out is in black font and would be better if it was either bold font or perhaps spread. When it’s low light it is kind of hard to read. But other than that quite pleased.

   I was expecting a lot less when I bought because of price. But I was absolutely pleased when I started using this rangefinder. It works exceptional on foam 3-D targets. Even higher priced units seem to have trouble with the foam 3-D archery targets. I realize I have only been using these for a short time but I am really surprised and pleased.

   I took this out to our local gun range with my bow the area I was in I was able to scan out all the way to 346 yards is about Max where I was at but it picked it up quickly several times. I haven’t tried any farther than that just for the simple fact of where I was at. But I also use a bow I shoot out to about 110 yards for practice purposes and it has the angle compensator and it works amazing.

   Bought this because I have wanted a simple range finder but didn't want to shell out big dollars. Both the angled calculation and line of sight calculation are accurate. It does require manual focusing, but once you have it focused for the edge of your typical shooting range, no issue. This is not for long distance shooting, in my opinion. Perfect for bow hunting and small rifle game.

   You cant beat the price. I was able to get on paper with the first shot. Got on paper at 25 yards then moved to 100 yds based on the range. As expected, I was only 1 inch high at 100 yds. I did not take the time to use a wheel to measure the distance, the shot group placement told me all I needed to know.
