Listen, I've unofficially dubbed myself the get rid of lice Queen. It's a title I'm both ashamed and proud of. With five children, I've dealt with it countless times over the years and have tried many different ways to eradicate lice. Until recently... I've been able to do treatments and comb and rid my children's precious heads of the monstrous lice. Then super lice came around. They have no time for my frivolous attempts at killing them off. They keep growing and breeding, mocking me all the while, taunting me with their bloodsucking grins.

Will recommend to anyone with a lice problem, it gets the eggs and bugs out. If you are having a lice problem soak the hair in rubbing alcohol ,wrap with a bag or whatever for ten minutes, eats the egg glue and kills them all!

My children have Super Lice, not regular lice. Over the counter products are a waste of time and money. Tea tree oil mixed with olive oil kinda works but it's very messy. I have bought tons of shower caps. The only thing I was told from a woman who works at the Lice Clinic of America, is that the main ingredient that kills these Super Lice is 100% Dimethicone oil. It comes in the Ladibugs Elimination Kit which is ok maybe for one person. You only get 4 oz in the kit and I was told you need at least 32oz or more. I found it listed here and on eBay. We've been doing the dimethicone every day and using a lice comb. But I still can't get the nits. It's very frustrating! I saw this V-Comb on amazon and went ahead and got one. Wow! It is so amazing! I can't believe how easy it is to use and how many nits I was able to remove. I wish I would have found this V-Comb sooner! I highly recommend it and the 100% dimethicone oil. These Super Lice don't have a chance in my house now!

This thing is insane. I do think it is cheaply made, but it seems to work really well. I hope that no one ever has to use this, but if you're reading this review that's probably not the case. I have been fighting a lice infestation with my daughter's for 2 months. I have spent literally hundreds of dollars on shampoos and combs with no success. The doctor told us that some lice are resistant to the shampoos. So I have in and purchased this as a last resort. I am hoping this is the answer to our problem. I pulled thousands of live lice and eggs out of my kids hair with this thing. I'll post pictures. I would recommend this to any one.

I have never dealt with Lice ever, I purchased the V-Comb when I decided enough is enough. Four days of natural remedies that didn't do anything and medicated shampoo, which also, DID NOTHING, I combed, I smothered these buggers I tried to kill them with everything I could think of. I followed all the treatments I found online and to no avail.. I got my V-Comb within 24 hours of ordering it and used it for the first time last night. I pulled out maybe 30 bugs on my two kids combined the first session and then did it again and pulled about maybe 8 or so.. This morning I did it two more times on each of them and got less and less each time I did it. Hopefully one more session on each and they will be eradicated. It is uncomfortable on them so I have to give their scalp a break between sessions. But this momma is satisfied. Thank you creators of V-Comb.. Truly a great product. Of course it would be even greater if their was no discomfort but that's a bit much to ask. Still happy!

I was skeptical until I used this product. My children have repeatedly had lice during this school year. I was tired of putting chemicals on their scalp which didn't work. I even asked my doctor for a prescription that didn't have the needed relief. The sad reality is lice aren't what my my son had 15-ish years ago. Now, we have "super lice" and trust me when I say they are resilient and don't die very easily. This seems pricey until I added all the lice treatments up. Basically make sure that the child's hair is combed out with a fine toothed comb first. Go slow with small sections of hair at a time. The vacuum suction does the rest. If there is an area with heavy numbers of eggs you may have to go over this space more than once.

I can not tell you how much I love this device for flea combing my cats and kittens ! It works even though it was made for head lice . I have gotten nearly 100 fleas off my cats that the regular flea comb couldn't reach . The company that manufactures this product needs to make one similar but with fleas in mind , add a bit more suction to it since they can jump away ! And make it rechargable so you don't have to be tethered to a wall. This thing is so relaxing to use and it doesn't make too much noise either , just a humming sound.

Our kids daycare seems to have a new lice breakout every few months, and this comb has been awesome. Last night found out my daughter had lice again. Used the comb quickly and easily on her dry hair, no chemicals needed. The comb sucked up eggs,nits, and live lice which can be visualized easily in the catch filter. The next day I did a traditional chemical treatment and wet comb-out to make sure nothing was missed. It took much longer and I found only 3 missed eggs on her whole head. Probably would have gotten those with another run-through with the v-comb instead, but I wanted to see which was more effective. Anyway, I love this little gadget and it's been a worthwhile purchase with 3 kiddos in school and daycare. I no longer have to freak out and run to the drugstore if I hear there is another lice exposure, I just pull this out of the cabinet and do a quick comb-out with it, repeat for a day or two to be on the safe side, and good to go!

I don't normally leave reviews on products but I HAVE TO on this product. My daughter came home one day and was infested. She thought it was dandruff so just used her dad's dandruff shampoo and didn't tell us. Anyway, long story short, it took some time and multiple treatments but this comb, hands down, was the only thing that saved my daughter from the buzz cutters. She went from infested with nits on every strand of hair to clear. it will not get them all out in one comb thru, but it will work faster than any standard comb. And it's super easy to clean up after. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone, and have to all my friends already.

I would've stuck to just the old fashion comb if I didnt have 4 kids infested non stop with super lice.. gotta love elementary school. Never mind the fact that it's an unbelievable pain to comb your own super thick, down to your bum hair, when the loving crotch fruit share their pesky bugs with you. It may pull your hair occasionally.. Still worth the pleasure of getting rid of the relentless little bastards that plague you and your children's hair. However, I have no doubt that the .50 hooker down at the truck stop has more sucking power than this little bugger. It is no doubt great at sucking up most of the lice but has a tendency to leave newly orphaned eggs behind. You'll still need that handy comb for a few late term abortions and evictions.

I've been battling lice for 3 months with my 6 year old daughter and I swear to you I was ready to shave her head. This is the best thing ever. Granted you're chasing little bugs so we have to use this several times. This has really brought hope and sanity back into my life. I suggest just buying the extra filters now. I also suggest buying Lice Trap shampoo, I think its an enzyme shampoo, and the bugs were practically jumping off her. I found that at a local eco-health store. Also buy some household spray that way you can avoid washing everything everyday. I hope this helps someone. Good Luck!

I absolutely loved this thing.....First, I tried the shampoo from the pharmacy which didn't work, then I took her to the doctor to get the stronger stuff which didn't seem like it was enough but I used it anyways, and that didn't work, so we went back to the doctor, and she gave is double the amount, and it still didn't work.....the lice comb wasn't working well, and my daughter had really long hair, so this was all a nightmare....I started looking for something else, and found this and had it shipped next day, and it was a life saver.....I couldn't believe how much of the life were still alive and left in her hair.....Now you should go slow, and make sure you comb out or brush each section first before using it, but after 4 days using it twice a day, she was completely lice free.....This is totally worth the money you spend

The granddaughters came to visit and they were just getting over an infestation of head lice. I purchased this comb and went through their hair about every 4 days. It works surprisingly well and I was very pleased with it. I like the little receptacle because you can see what you got with a comb as it falls into the receptacle. Also I feel like any eggs or lice are less likely to fall on me or on the carpet.

Best product ever, my child's whole school broke out with lice and I spent hundred's of dollars on over the counter products for my 4 children's hair to try and get rid of them but nothing would work. Then I saw this listed on Amazon and I thought what could I lose by giving it a try. As soon as I got it I plugged it in and started using it on my kids hair. Just as it promised it removed the live lice and eggs without hurting or harming my children. I've had this product for a few months now and I use it twice a week just to be safe on my kids and have found nothing. Best money I ever spent!

We have been dealing with lice for over a month just frustratingly spinning our wheels it seems until now. I only received it today and had so much success I couldn't believe it. I forgot to take a photo but what we couldn't find with constant picking through my 5 year old granddaughters hair we literally found with 10 min using this comb, nits and all! I now have hope that with consistent follow up we can finally be rid of these things! She thought it was cool that it was an electronic device so she didn't mind sitting during the process compared to all of the other methods we previously tried. Also i didn't mind the price as it didn't compare to wasting money on chemicals or using the very expensive professional services. In my opinion this thing is the best thing on the market to end lice!

This year has been terrible for lice at my daughter's school and sadly, all if the regular treatments just weren't doing the trick. We were not prepared for this epidemic of super lice and our growing frustration with the reoccurring problem was only matched by the growing dollar amount we were spending to try and solve the problem. Out of desperation I started looking at alternatives and came across this product. It works. Plain and simple, it works. With regular use, we are winning the fight against Super Lice. I do wish the refills weren't quite so expensive or at least have the option for reusable filters, but I understand it is a business and we are coming out cheaper in the long run.

Wow. I wasn't putting a whole lot of hope in this but saw the reviews and I'll do anything to get rid of lice. I have a 6 and 9 year old and this is our first time with lice. This was delivered about 10 minutes ago. I read through the directions, plugged it in and started brushing in sections. I just checked her beforehand after a treatment and an hour of combing through with the crappy comb that comes with a treatment. I love that this is also something that is not a one time use but we can use it over and over to help prevent lice. Well worth the money.

I'm convinced that if we hadn't gotten this product than our lice problem would not have been cleared up. It got nits that the comb wasn't capturing.

Mine was wonderful! I couldn't get rid of them!!! I tried and tried for months spent a lot of money on various treatments that was not working!!! This is a vacuum that vacuums them out of your hair... it is easy to put through the oily hair and the regular and thin hair... use this once a day and you will get results! The more you do it the better results you will get. I skipped a day and still had way less than the first day I used it. The comb doesn't hurt and it has an adjustable handle so you could adjust the angle if needed!

I didn't know my kids had lice until I started using this product. My daughter has very thick, long hair and if it wasn't for this product I would have never seen them! I feel much more confident that I have gotten the majority removed from their head. I don't have to worry about only treating then waiting a week to retreat.
