I initially gave it to him without any treats in as it is awkward to get them in. But, he's quite happy to chew on it without anything edible. We have also used it with some pate in which he really enjoyed
His teeth are also so much cleaner and the toy is fully intact since buying it at the beginning of April. I do supervise him with it and it keeps him quiet for a long time.
You can stuff broken treats or small treats in the teeth of the toy aswell as peanut butter etc.
It definitely keeps Teddy happy for a while licking it.
But I really want him to chow down on it to help clean his teeth.Maybe he will when he feels like it.

She's bitten a couple of the tiny teeth off but overall this is a very sturdy toy.
The inclusion of a little brush to clean the toy is a nice touch as well.
Definitely recommend this.
