I didnt think the center part would be so soft, but it has a nice cushion to it. The edges are just enough to keep her feeling cozy and simultaneously connected to me. I also washed it as one piece when I got it because I didnt find the zipper until after I cleaned it (figures!). It held up through the wash and dry cycle. This is in a king bed. Its a good size that she will be able to be in it for awhile!

It works in my bed so that I do not have to worry about her rolling off the bed or me rolling on to her. The sides of the little bed are soft and high enough to keep her safe but not too high to block air flow to her. This little bed keeps her snuggled up like she is being held I think that is why she sleeps so much better. I also like that I can pick up and take it in any room we are in for her to nap. My only concern is the main zipper...i hope it lasts but no issue so far. Its just not very sturdy and with the amount of washing IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ve had to do bc our baby has made a mess in it. But so far after multiple washes and being sure to carefully zip and unzip it is still great!
