Make sure you use a baking tray before you pour in the baking products if not you will have a hard time putting your donut silicone into the oven . To make the glaze not spread all over the donuts I used a cooling rack made it much easier to decorate the donuts. I also purchased other things to make other desserts from this website . Don't get discouraged if the donuts don't come out the way it was before try again and use YouTube recipes to bake donuts .I'm definitely using this for other holidays to come !!

Here is a list of factors that will affect the outcome of your donuts: The angle of your batter drop The viscosity of your batter (2 extra tablespoons of moisture make a big impact) The amount of time you depress the batter release spring The distance of the batter cap to the batter bowl (which is adjustable by turning a nut) The depth of your oil and pan The distance of your batter drop to the oil's surface break (must drop batter as close to oil as possible without touching it) The temperature of your oil (I used a thermal laser gun to measure degrees fahrenheit 375 prior to dropping batter) There could be other factors, but what I listed above make up largely whether you get a proper donut shape, or *CLOSE ENOUGH* to proper donut shape, or if you instead get an amorphous, shapeless blob. That said, the donuts still turn out delicious either way, but then what's the point? The point is to achieve a donut shape. Just keep practicing! The people unfairly leaving single star reviews just aren't willing to learn the nuances of this device. Smelly unfortunate.
