I typically have cystic acne around my jawline, I use medical grade products but depending on my hormones I can get flare ups, so the high frequency device has been critical, basically as soon as I feel something coming I cleanse my face, make sure it's dry, then do a full face treatment with the mushroom tube and then spot treat with the bent tube. I recommend getting face gauze to use as well so the glass pieces stay clean and it glides easier over your face. Start on a low setting for the first few days then gradually make it stronger. Don’t rush and no it doesn’t hurt. 5 mins maximum use once a day and don’t dwell on just one area. I find zig zag motions over the gauze work best. It really will make a difference in your skin if you are consistent with using it!

My favorite tube is the tongue unit, since I have a bit of a bony face, it is easier to do all over therapy, plus contouring; & I just use its tip to spot treat, if necessary. It seems to be the most universal of the four tubes for my needs. The mushroom tube is great for doing the cheeks & forehead. The bend tube worked well doing under the eyes, the nose area, and near the slim temples of the head, & my narrow chin, but I use it on a lower setting, since it feels like it is rather zappy. To my amazement, the comb tube felt better than I had imagined. It felt really good, & if you have a 'mass' of THICK & long hair, you might need to portion sections in order just to get the glass prongs to concentrate on making contact with the scalp, rather than combing all the way down the hair's length, & risk tangling coarse strands--even if they were brushed out, before using this. I wouldn't want the strong hair to tug at the glass comb, so I just makeshift a technique that lifts individual sections. Finally, I'll be intrigued to learn how long term use will make an impact. This device does well at tightening the pores, even on my 1st and only use so far. There's a lot of bang for your bucks on this item. I would recommend giving it a try!
